DL.ART THANKFUL THURSDAY CHALLENGE AUGUST LINKY CHALLENGE

I began my card by making a black 5X7 base.  Then I added an Anna Griffin Tassel and Finge Die Set-I used the rug and canopy dies.  Then I added a poodle and and sentiment from the AG Canine stamp and die set. I threaded DL.ART Midnight Crinkle Ribbon thru 2 of the holes in the rug.  Then I tied a bow in the corner.

DL.ART Thankful Thursday Challenge #233-Baby

Good morning.  It s time for  a new challenge over at DL.ART- I am so excited the theme is "Baby".  Of course you can always substitute a Thank You card.  A lot of my friends are becoming grandparents.  I made this card for my friends-her son and his wife are expecting a boy.  Have you checked out all of the fun buttons and Crinkle ribbon in the DL.ART store ?  I love the buttons and the Baby Flair buttons are perfect for this challenge.  The Baby Bundle has Baby Pink, Baby Blue and Sweet dreams. I began by cutting the overalls on my cricut.  I then covered a 5X7 card base with yellow Embellish card stock and some We R Memory Makers polka dot paper  I added a strip of Sweet Dreams crinkle ribbon.  Then I made a rosette wth Baby Blue Crinkle Ribbon.  I added a tassle of Yellow and White Basic Twine.  Then I added The "boy" button from Baby Flair Buttons.

Hello, how is your summer going?  I don't have vacation plans this year.  We have been doing a lot of fun outings with friends.  Well it is time for a new challenge over at DL.ART this time the theme is "anniversary"  of course you can always substitute a thank you card.  Have you checked out the DL.ART Store.  There are lots of bright summer bundles of crinkle ribbon and fun buttons.

Every Saturday for the past 25 years I have been meeting a group of women for coffee.  We have been through a lot of sad and happy times together.  My friend Elaine and her husband John are celebrating 50 years of marriage.  Her children threw a fantastic party.  I made this special card for them.

I began by embossing some AG metallic gold card stock.  Then I added a band of DL.ART Whipped Cream crinkle ribbon from the Creamy Dreamy Bundle .  This bundle is perfect for weddings and anniversarys.  I cut 2 medallions using an Anna Griffin Cricut cartridge.  I popped them up with foam tape.  Then I added the 50th cut.

I made this card for a friend who took a trip to London.  All of the cuts are in Cricut Design Space.  The Patriotic White bow is anchored with Red and White Twine.

Hello June is a busy month full of graduations, Fathers Day and Weddings. The theme for the DL.ART THANKFUL THURSDAY CHALLENGE #230 is Weddings.  You can always substitute a Thank You card. For this challenge I made a card to thank my friend for the beautiful birthday gift she gave me.  I received a pretty pink and gold polka dot apron along with a lot of fun pink utensils.  Sweet Love from the Sweet bundle was the perfect shade of pink crinkle ribbon.

My friend's daughter is graduating next week.  I made a champagne glass money holder-Cricut Access and a box card using the Anna Griffin Window box card and a graduation image that I flattened and print and cut.  I used Black and White Basic Twine on the cap.  I tied a bow around the glass an added a bow to the card using Black Crinkle Ribbon from Build Your Own Bundle and Pure Love Crinkle Ribbon from the Valentine Bundle.

Hello.  It is time for a new DL.ART Thankful Thursday Challenge.  This time the theme is "birthday"  of course you can always substitute a Thank You card.  There are loads of birthdays in my family in May and June.  I have been trying to use color combinations that are out of my comfort zone.  For this challenge I began by picking a green and yellow ribbons from the "The Rainbow Bundle".  I love this collection of bright and fun colors-red, orange, blue, green, yellow and violet.

DL.ART THANKFUL THURSDAY MAY LINKY CHALLENGE

Happy May 1st.  There are some fun celebrations this month. It is time for the DL.ART May Linky Challenge.  Lately I have been using the Rainbow Bundle a lot.  There is red, yellow, blue, green and violet in this bundle.  For today's project I used Violet for the bow and I added a tassel of Pink Twine to the center.  Diana generously gives my readers a 10% discount-just use the code KA345 at check out.
For this project I used some MCT dies to make a donut themed birthday card.  The fun donut paper is by Doodlebug. The solid papers are Core'dinations.  Don't you love how the bow matches the papers?

For this card I used the floral design from the Anna Griffin Pop up cartridge.  The floral paper on the outside is Paper Studio, it is decorated with Anna Griffin die cuts.  The inside papers are Paper Studio and Core'dinations.  I added the pretty purple and blue bow to the inside.  The sentiment is from Florals Embellished

Hello.  Spring has arrived and it is time for a new Thankful Thursday challenge over at DL.ART.  Guess what? Daffodils are my favorite spring flower.  When I saw Elizabeth Craft Designs "Garden Notes Daffodil dies" I knew they would make a great spring card.  They are 3 dimensional.  I water colored all of the pieces and added some flocking to the stamen.  I centered the flowers on a center label by Spellbinders.  then I added a beautiful Sweet Pea bow.

I began by watercoloring some  Art Impressions stamps.  Then I cut out the image with My Creative Time dies.  The papers are Graphic 45.  I tied Steel Blue ribbon through a Vintage Button.  I then attached the button to a strip of  Mocha crinkle ribbon.

WATER COLORED EASTER GOODIE BOXES

I made these fun easter boxes to give to a my kids.  I'll fill them with gift cards and candy.  I cut the box out of Canson Watercolor paper using Cricut Access.  I got the paper damp then i swirled some distressed inks on a pallette.  Then I colored 3 sides of the boxes.  I stamped the bunny image on one panel using Art Impressions-Easter Blessings.  I colored the image with marvy markers and a wet brush.  I added some sequins and a Lavender bow-DL.ART Spring Bundle

DL.ART MARCH 2018 LINKY CHALLENGE

Good Morning it is March 1st- that means it is time for a new challenge over at DL.ART.  These challenges are Anything Goes.  Have you been to the DL.ART STORE.  Diana has lots of fun crinkle ribbon bundles, buttons and pins.  My readers get a 10% discount just use the code KA345.  For this challenge I used Peacock from the  Build Your Own Bundle and Crown from the Jewel and Crown Bundle.  I also used Brown and White Twine and a Vintage Button.
For this challenge  I chose another Anna Griffin Pop-Up Card by Cricut.  The outsides of these cards are rather simple.  I used some Graphic 45 paper and cut a sentiment in Cricut Access.  I changed the inside of the card to match the Graphic 45 paper.  The cake looked rather plain so I decided to add some perfect pearls.  I made a bow using Peacock and Crown crinkle ribbon.  Then I attached a red rose Vintage Button with some twine.

 I got my inspiration from Bonnie at Art Impressions.  Before I started the project I had picked out two spring crinkle ribbons-Lavender from the Spring bundle and Aruba Blue from the Tropical Bundle.  I watercolored the Art Impression images  using Marvy Markers and a paint brush.  The polka dot paper is from my stash and the glitter paper is DCWV.

My 3 year old grand nephew Gavin loves anything Disney.  I used Mickey and Friends in Cricut design space.  There were too many little pieces so I used the print and cut feature.  I cut the speech bubble and popped it up on foam squares.  The XO paper is American Crafts.  I made a pom pom type bow using red and white twine and Pure Love and Red Hot Love.  The ribbons and twines coordinate so well.  The sentiment is a MCT die.

Sophie is my newest grand niece-she was born in July.  For her First Valentines card, I decided to go with Hello Kitty.  Lately I have been using the Print and cut feature on my Cricut.  It works really well with cuts that have a lot of little pieces. The winged hear is pieced together Hello Kitty is print and cut.  Her bow is Red Hot Love the ruffled border at the bottom is Sweet Love.  Both ribbons are in the Valentine Bundle.
