Hello, I can't believe it is time for the last DL.ART Thankful Thursday Challenge in 2016.  And guess what the theme is "Anything Goes".  For this challenge idecided to make some tags for gifts.  I am wrapping the gifts in a red foil paper.  I bought some Hello Kitty Holiday images.  They are so darn cute.  I used some Echo Park Papers and some DCWV that compliment the beautiful ribbons at I used Christmas Red and White Christmas from the Traditional Christmas bundle.  I also used Royal Blue from the Blues Bundle.  Diana give my readers a 10% discount just use the code K34510 at check out.

I made this card for Avi, who is celebrating his 11th birthday today. I used Crazy Bird stamps by Tim Holtz.  I watercolored colored them using Distressed inks.  The cloud paper is Basic Grey.  The rest of the papers are from my stash.  The sentiment is My Creative Time.

I made this card using my Cricut Explore with the Suburbia and the base was cut using the Decorate!,Celebrate!.  The pink glitter paper is Recollections, the black is Colorbok and the gold is from Paper Source.  This was a really quick and easy project.

We had a big family Birthday party this weekend.  We celebrated all of the September, October and November birthdays.  I am always looking for creative ways to give a money gift.  I got the idea from creative me inspired you I saw it on Pintrest.  For my card I used Echo Park papers.  The beautiful ribbons are Mint and RAO red from the DL.ART SHOP.

 For my project I used RAO from the Newspaper Bundle.  I love this bundle it has black, red and white ribbon in it.  I made some favor/place markers for a breakfast I am hosting.  They will hold a lip balm.  I got the idea from Cindy at Cindys Corner.  She has a great You Tube tutorial.  The patterned papers are Echo Park.  The dies and sentiment are Lawn Fawn.

Recently, I purchased the Tim Holtz Crazy Dog Stamps.  They are so darn cute.  I decided to make a tall and skinny card.  So I stacked the dogs on top of each other.  I stamped the pups on watercolor paper using Ranger Archival Ink.  Then i colored in the images with a wet brush and Marvy Markers.  For the background I used a Tim Holtz Stencil and Texture Paste.  After the paste dried, I rubbed on Distressed Inks.  The sentiment is computer generated.

I think this is the longest I have gone without posting.  I haven't been feeling to well lately.  Also I had to report for jury duty.  I wasn't picked.  I have been in my craftroom-but not posting.  I think the Christmas cards I am working on are a little ambitious.  I hope to post them soon.
Thanksgiving is at my house.  I have made favors for the table.  I began with these cute little treat bags from Hobby lobby.  Then I cut images on my cricut using Celebrate with Flourish and CAC2. They were quick and easy.

Don't you love all of the fall holidays-the colors, the smells.  Thanksgiving is one of my favorite meas to prepare.  There is usually 10-15 of us.  At Christmas we have 40.  The new Thankful Thursday Challenge at DL.ART is Thanksgiving.  Of course you can always enter a "Thank You" card instead.  For this challenge I used a Cricut Access project.  The original project has a paper cut for the whipped cream.  I decided to add a bow instead.  I used Whipped Cream from the Creamy Dreamy bundle.  There are a lot of fun fall and holiday bundles at DL.ART SHOP.  Diana gives my readers a 10% discount-just use the code K4510 at checkout.  I used DCWV papers.  This pie box is so cute I hope to make 15 for the table. I had colored up a bunch of Art Impression stamps from the Penguin Joy set and some other sets I got at Michaels last year.  I  water colored the images with Marvy markers.  I cut the black frame with my Cricut using Fancy Frames.  I cut the snow using edge dies by My Creative Time.  The papers are Echo Park Hello Winter.  The gems are Paper Studio.  I added some Stickles for little bit of bling

Good Morning.  WOW it is the first of November.  Where did this year go?  Today is the beginning of the November Linky Challenge over at DL.ART.  My Sister in Law, Diane is turning 70.  Her favorite color is yellow.  I use 2 or my favorite ribbon colors from the DL.ART SHOP..  The beautiful soft pink is "Sweet Love" from the VALENTINE BUNDLE.  This bundle is great for the holidays too.  It also has white and a great red.  The creamy yellow ribbon is  "Vanilla Cream"  from the CREAMY DREAMY BUNDLE.  Diana gives my readers a 10% discount, just use the code K4510 at check out.

I made this belated birthday card using the "Disney Friends" cartridge on  my explore. There are lots of pieces to this image.  The background paper is echo park.  When I cut out the Spellbinders label, I hadn't cleaned the die from prior use.  I like the way the yellow pieces look. The sentiment was typed on my laptop.  I gathered the beautiful RAO ribbon.

Yahoo first Christmas card finished.  Every year I attend a few parties where there is a gift exchange.  I thought these cards would be fun to include with the gift. ART IMPRESSIONS is having a "Till You Wobble" challenge.  The image I used is from the AI Hampton Art Reindeer set that I got at Michaels last year.  I colored the image using a brush and ink from Marvy Markers.  The papers are Sugar and Spice Studio "Rockin' Christmas" available at Hobby Lobby.  The first card is on an Action Wobble.  I used the last one.  The second card is popped up with dimensionals.  The beautiful ribbon is RAO red from the Newspaper Bundle.  I am also entering this into the Show it off Saturday Challenge over at LITTLE SCRAP PIECES

I made this set for my friend Becky's Birthday.  I cut the box with my Cricut Explore. It's the perfect size for a MAC eyeshadow compact.  I cut the grass and hills using My Creative Time Edge dies.  The dogs are Lawn Fawn "Critters at the Dog Park".  The papers are DCWV.  I printed the sentiment on my computer. The sentiment dies are also My Creative Time.

I made this card for a wedding we are going to this weekend.  I began with the center cut from Anna Griffins Lace Cards and Embellishments.  Then I cut the bride and groom using the Cricut Wedding cartridge.  "Mr & Mrs" is from CTMH Aritste.  All of the silver papers are DCWV, the base is Paper Studio.  The flowers are Paper Studio and Jolees.

Recently I purchased a few Art Impression Watercolor sets.  I am making a series of fall scene cards.  The one I am posting today is of a barn. I used the Old Barn Mini Set.  Marvy markers were used to color the image.
I am thinking of doing this image again making the trees orange and creating a picture instead of a card.  A few framed images would look great in my dining room

A while ago I bought a Tim Holtz bird stamp and stencil set.  This is my first time using Texture paste.  I had so much fun with it.  After the paste dried I swirled on various Distressed inks using a foam dauber.  I water colored the birds using a brush and Marvy Markers.  Next I fussy cut around the birds.  I haven't added a sentiment yet.  Not sure if I am going to use it as a birthday card.

My son Robert who is away at college, turns 19 on Saturday.  He is not to far from home.  Hopefully he will have time to see us this weekend.  He loves our three dogs, Scruffie, Polly and Prince.  So I made him a doggie cupcake card.  The patterned papers and the stickers are Echo Park.  The cupcakes and the white dog are My Creative Time Dies "Light-The-Candles-Stamp-Die-Set" and Loyal-Friends-Stamp-Set.  The Poodle is Cricut "Create a Critter.  and the golden dog is Lawn Fawn.

When my kids were little I had a young girl, Debbie help me with them.  She became the most amazing babysitter.  She is now a mother of three beautiful children.  Last week she lost her little angel Aubrey to a brain tumor. Aubrey was almost two and she fought cancer for almost a year.  I made these cards for Debbie and her mother.  Gold is the pediatric cancer ribbon color.
 The base of this first card is an Anna Griffin base.  I cut the Anna Griffin centerpiece twice on my Cricut Explore.  The beautiful ribbon is St. Tropez Gold by DL.ART.  The ribbon charm is from Michaels.

All of the papers on this card are Core'dinations.  The base  and bird were cut on my Cricut using Anna Griffin Elegant Embellishments.  I embossed the center matt with an Anna Griffin embossing folder.

I made this card for one of my very best friends who is having a colon cancer surgery next week.  Dark blue is the colon cancer ribbon color.  I am working on blue bracelets for her and I.  Should be posting those soon.  For the base of my card I used Anna Griffin ombre cardstock which I embossed with her Poppy embossing folder.  The center motif was cut with my cricut using  Anna's Lace Cards and Embellishments. it has three layers, I embossed the middle layer with Cuttlebug's Swiss Dots.  Then I added some bling from my stash.  The card still looked BLAH!  I recut the top layer and fussy cut the butterflies to add dimension.  The sentiment was cut and written on my Cricut explore using the Spring Fling cartridge.  The design was inspired by this weeks Mojo Monday Sketch. I am also entering the FCCB-wet or dry embossing challenge and the Show it Off Saturday Linky Party over at Little Scrap Pieces

I made this easel box card using the new Lori Whitlock Cricut cartridge-"From Me To You".  I cut it at 5"  It came out very small-but I was able to fit some folded up money in it.  I can see it is going to take some experimenting to get these cuts right.  The base paper is really old DCWV.  The other 2
papers are Echo Park.  These papers go beautifully with the Fall Bundle ribbon.  The fox is a My Creative Time-Fall Friends.  I can't wait to see your autumn projects.

Canary Cottage or Beach House

I love Art Impressions stamps-You can get a lot of use out of one or two sets.  Recently I purchased the Watercolor Series 8 set -2 set.  I made 2 cards using the smaller structure.  Bothe cards were stamped with Mary Markers-Sepia.  Then, I brushed some markers on a palette and used a brush and water to color in image.  I am entering these into the newest AI Challenge-Watercolor Challenge

I needed a quick birthday bag for a gift.  I found a plain black bag.  Then I found this cute image on Cricut Access. My friend just moved into a new house.  I made this card for her using Art Impressions Watercolor Series 8 set 2.  I stamped the image using a Marvy Sepia Marker.  Then I softened the lines with a wet brush.  I added flowers and lots of foilage.  The papers are Hobby Lobby.  I used my explore to write the sentiment.  The two thicknesses of twine are from DL.ART.  I am entering this into the Show it off Saturday at LITTLE SCRAP PIECES

At the Scrapbook Expo I purchased a lot of  Art Impressions stamps.  I used thisWatering Canbecause it fit into the current Mojo Monday sketch.  I began by stamping the image with Wilted Violet.  Then I drew out the color with a wet brush.  I stamped the grass using  the Foilage Set .The scalloped circle and inner circle are Spellbinders.  The sentiment die is from My Creative Time.  The papers are Paper Studio.  I am also entering this card into a "Thank You" Challenge at Die Cutting Divas

Hello.  Oh boy did this summer go by fast.  We didn't go on a big vacation this year.  We went on a lot of weekend trips to visit colleges.  Next year we are off to Cancun. My friend's grandaughter, Coral ,is turning one.  I made this coral colored card for her following a Die Cutting Diva's Sketch.  The baby stamp and baby dress are by Prima.  All of the papers are from a Prima-Julie Nutting "blush" pad.  The sentiment  and circle dies are My Creative Time . I had an amazing day at the Scrapbook Expo on Friday.  I met up with my dear friend Diana from DL.ART.  We had so much fun shopping and chatting.  I was kind of on a budget this year, so I wrote out a list of "must haves".  It included a long list of  Art Impressions stamps. Yesterday I went to my friend Helen's 70th birthday luncheon.  I gave her a wooden box filled with cards.  She particularly likes coffee cards.  So here is coffee card #2.  I began by stamping Some doughnuts onto craft paper by DCWV.  The coffee cup, sentiment and doughnut are all from My Creative Time's "We're Better Together"  I got my inspiration from MCT designer Nikki check out her post Here.  I used three rows of thin washi tape by Paper Studio at the bottom.
