TACO-THE ALPHA DOG

My daughter has a Chihuahua, called Taco.  When he comes to visit , he rules the house, including my Standard Poodle.  For Christmas I make all of the family pets treat bags.  Maybe this year I'll make the treats too.  BBTB2  is having a French Fry Box Challenge.  I got the box cut from TBB&M2 The dog is from Four Legged Friends.

RECYCLED XMAS BOX

My Creative Time is having a Recycle challenge. CHECK IT OUT I have had this silver box with holes in it.  It originally had MAC make-up in it.  I decided to fill the holes with glitter paper and stamps or with brads.  I had to take the pictures at weird angles, so my reflection didn't show.  All of the stamps are MCT

Snowman Box

I attatched the inside plastic plate that has a hole in it to the top of the box.  this left an ugly gap so I hid it with a border.

RECYCLING DAY

On the weekends I usually pick out all of the recycling from the kids waste baskets.  My daughter was home for a few days and she cleaned her closet.  There were 6 Apple boxes from various iphones, ipods etc.  I even found 2 pairs of head phones in her trash.  There was also a box that had perfume in it.  Here's what I came up with.

 First I covered the box with paper from DCWV I used Taj Mahal and Natural stacks.  I covered the white inner plate then backed it with dark brown.  I used a circle punch by  Punch Bunch       I cut out a triangle for the top and added a medallion sentiment by Making Memories.  The bird is Shapabilities "Bird Sanctuary"to which I added Stickles.  The flowers are Jolees.  I found Sook Wang tape to work the best.

The second project is the enpty perfume gift box with 3 Apple boxes taped inside to separate my ink pads.
2 great projects that were almost thrown away.  Now I am going to collect Apple boxes to put  Holiday gifts in.  May be i will complete one in time for a Christmas in July challenge.
