HAVE A DOG GONE MERRY CHRISTMAS

I made this card for my friend, Alda who has scotties.  I made this card for a "Chalk Art" challenge at MY CRAFT SPOT.  I got these fun chalboard holiday prints from Hobby Lobby (Paper Studi-Deck The Halls with Chalk and A very Merry Christmas"  The sketch I used is a MOJO MONDAY sketch from Dec 2010.  Don't you love it when you have a cool bow on a gift?  This bow and the red behind it is off of a gift.  The sentiment is half hand written {Have A) and "Dog Gone" is from MY CRAFT SPOT "Cute Critters."  The ruby collar is Recollections.  You can find this cut on Cricut's Just Because Cards cartridge.   I am also linking up to DL. I GLOVE YOU

No it's not a typo.  I made this tag to go on a pair of gloves.  Are you always looking for new ways to package money?  If you have any fun ideas leave them in a comment.  My daughter's birthday is Sunday, She is having a cash flow problem at the moment.  So I rolled a $20.00 bill into each of the fingers.  Then I made a tag to go with it.  

The tag is made with a My Creative Time Die, the letters and heart are also MCT.  The papers a DCWV.  The threads are from my stash.  I used Paperdoll Dress-up for the gloves

MY CRAFT SPOT-Anything but  a card

FINTASTIC

There are lots of July and August birthdays in my family. It is time to stock up on cards.  MY CRAFT SPOT  is having a Birthday Chllenge.  I used one of their stamps from the "Cute Critters" set.  It say "Have a Fintastic Day."  The fish is from Cricut's "Crocs Rule" c art.  All of the papers except the water paper(Paper Studio) are DCWV.The glittery border is K&Company.   I started this card by following a MOJO MONDAY sketch.

WARM HEART

FCCB is having a color challenge-yellow, purple and grey.  I was a little stuck, then I saw that MY CRAFT SPOT is having a Shaped Card challenge.  I immediately thought of Damask Decor.  I love their shaped cards.  The base card paper is Core'dinations, all other paper is DCWV.  The gem on top is Jolees.  I used skittles by my friend Cari at DOUBLE CLICK CONNECTIONS.  I got the German Glass Glitter by Chic California at a refurbished furniture shop.  The sentiment is Fiskars.  I am also linking this up to DL.ART-Thankful Thursday June Linky Party

BEFORE AND AFTER-MOTHERS DAY CANDLE

My sister-in-laws and I always exchange a little something at our Mothers Day Brunch.  I bought a few candles from Home Goods. They came with a plain band, which I used as a template.  The longest paper I had was 12".  So I cut a circle from Plantin Schoolbook then added strips to each side.  Then I folded the sides to fit around the candle. I decorated the top with flowers from Flower Shoppe and Artiste . I ran the circle through my Cuttlebug using Textile folder. The sunburst and sentiment on the front side is also Artiste.The sentiment on the back side is My Creative Time on a Spellbinders die. The papers are My Paper Studio. I used Memento and Colorbox inks.

DOG-GONE HAPPY

This card was made to fit a few challenges.  FCCB is having an "April Shower" challenge.  also, MY CRAFT SPOT is having a "Black and White Plus One Color" challenge. I chose black, white and blue.  The  chalkboard papers are from My Minds Eye.  The white and black glitter are DCWV.  The poodle is cut from Once Upon A Princess and the umberella is from Create a Critter.  The cloud embossing folder is from Darice.  The sentiment is My Craft Spot. The sentiment die is from My creative Time.  I used Colorbox chalk ink.

SPRINKLES FOR YOU

I got some awesome DCWV paper pads at JoAnn's for $6.  One is called the "Snack Stack".  MY CRAFT SPOT is having a "Shake it On" challenge. I am also linking up to DL.Art-Thankful Thursday April linky Party.  The beads are so old the sticker on the bottom say  $.75.  There is no label.  The ribbon is 3 girl jam.  The die cuts are Spellbinders, the cup cake is Stamps of Life. The sentiment is Scrappy Moms.

Mojo Monday has an awesome sketch this week. I love the slanted look . For more informan=tion on this challenge click HERE.  I used Core'dinations paper for the base, the owl paper is K&Company,  All other is scraps.  The brads are from Echo Park.  I cut the large circle from Plantin Schoolbook.  The owl is from Create a critter.  The inside sentiment is from My Craft Spot.

GIRLFRIENDS ARE FOREVER

A work friend of mine is no longer going to be servicing our store.  Through the last few years we have become good friends.  I made this card to look like the new group of clothing we got in.  Janis at PAUSE, DREAM &ENJOY is having a "Friendship" Linky party. 

The solid papers are Cor'dinations.  All other is DCWV .  The dress die is My Creative Time.  I don't know sho the stamp is by-I think Fiskars.  The tile on the inside is Cloud 9, the tag is Martha Stewart.  Gems are from my stash

I was stumped by the sketch Challenge at My Craft Spot.  So I looked thru my stamps for inspiration.  From the set Cute Critters, I chose the sentiment "I'll love you OWLways"  The papers are DCWV. BIRTHDAY BOY

My dad turned 84 today.  He still runs everyday and has many creative hobbies.  I planned on making this last night, but I slipped in the bathroom, leaving me with sore arm.  So I had to rush and make it in 20 minutes.  I love the sketch challenge at MY CRAFT SPOT  I used the DCWV Birthday pad.  The die for the tag is My Creative Time.  There is a note on the tag to go to lunch at his favorite restuarant.  I am also entering this into DL. A LITTLE SWAG

I can't believe that it has been a week since I last posted. Here is a card I made for my daughter, who I will be meeting up with today.  For this giftcard holder card, I used Something to Celebrate using the swag shaped card.  I cut the card twice, a smaller version is inside making a pocket for money or a giftcard.  I got this wonderful Graphic 45 paper called Bohemian Bazaar.  My friend Diana from DL.ART took me to her local craft store after we had a yummy lunch.  It is so much fun to meet up with bloggie friends.

A while back I won a set of stamps from MY CRAFT SPOT. There are a few summer challenges going on.  I used Pack Your Bags for the crab.  The papers are DCWV except for the cloud one which is Basic Grey.The ribbon is off a package.  I inked the edges with Tim Holtz ink pad.

I attatched the inside plastic plate that has a hole in it to the top of the box.  this left an ugly gap so I hid it with a border.

DAD OF ALL TRADES

I made this card for my dad who has so many hobbies.  Including, painting, woodworking-he built a harp and taught himself how to play it.  He also runs 5 miles a day at 81 years old. His current passion is calligraphy. There is a lot of twine on this card.  I twirled it on to a pop-dot, braided it and tied it up.  I used sticker letters for the inside sentiment.
