NATIONAL MUTT DAY

I made this card for National Mutt Day.  I have three dogs-a purebred Standard Poodle, a Shih Tzu nd a mutt that we rescued.  Scruffie, my adopted pet, has had the least medical problems and is so loving.
I love the Heartfelt Creations "Paw Fect Pooches Set. I colored the image with Marvy Markers.  The sentiment is from a punch out sheet that I have had for ever.  The twine is DL.ART Basic Twine.  The papers are DCWV.  If you are considering getting a dog check with your local adoption places.  Or if you have a specific breed in mind, there is probably a rescue society.  My 88 year old father just adopted a poodle from a rescue society.  Paris is a 6 year old miniature poodle who lived with a lady who had to go into a convalescent hospital that didn't allow dogs.  My dad takes Paris for weekly visits to an Alzhiemers home.

EVERYTHING IS BETTER WITH A FRIEND

I made this fun card for a special friend.  The stamp set I used is CTMH "Better with a Friend".  Diana at DL.ART  is a CTMH consultant.  I love the sentiment inside-"Everything is Better With a Friend".  I stamped the image with Ranger Archival Ink.  Then I water colored the image using a paint brush and Marvy Markers.  The other papers are MME-"Skys the Limit"I used Stitched Postage Frames and Stitched Rectangular Frame Dies and More by My Creative Time. The beautiful ST. Tropez Gold ribbon is by Diana at DL.ART.  The long rectangular die is by Spellbinders

 

HAPPY EVERYTHING

I made this card for a friend who is going to be visit family abroad for 4 months.  So this card is 5 cards in one.  She will miss Halloween, her birthday, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years..  The die and all of the sentiments are from My Creative Time-Happy Everything.  The airplane and cloud background MCT.  The papers are Hobby Lobby.  I used recollections white chalk ink and Tim Holz_China Blue.  The beautiful red and white ribbons are from the DL.ART STORE-Newspaper Bundle RAO Red and Chalk White

You Inspire Me

I am made this card for a friend who inspires me creatively and who is a great support emotionally.  This past week I have had a lot of serious issues at home.  My friend have listened, prayed and helped me through this tough time.
For this card I used My Creative Time Bunch-of-Fun-Circle-Dies- for the card base.  The inner circles are Bunch-of-Stitched-Doily-Dies.  The flowers in the middle are from the All-Around-Everything-I-Stamp-Set-MCT.  I love this new papered I got from Hobby Lobby it its Doodlbug's "Hello Sunshine"  The sequins are from CTMH.

FUN NEW STUFF

On Friday the Scrapbook Expo was held in my home town of Pleasanton.  I met up with my bloggy friend, Diana from DL.ART.  Shopping was so much fun,  We also went to one class.  Oh boy did we get some fun stuff.  My favorite purchases are Echo Park paper packs and "Halie" A Julie Nutting doll stamp and die set with a poodle.  On   the first card, i think I used the shoes for the front of the hair.  The solid papers are DCWV.  All of the patterned papers on the first card are Echo Park.  The dress paper and patterned strip on the second card are .  The gold leash is some tape from Paper Source.  The bows are a MCT die.  The sequins are from Teresa Collins.  The Scottie dog is from Just Because cards.

BEAUTIFUL RIDE

My Creative Times new release has the coolest bike die.  I cut the bike in black and again in silver tand pieced the together.  All of the stamps and dies are from My Creative Time.  The patterned papers are My Minds Eye "My Girl".  The sollid papers are DCWV.  The ribbon is Target.  I am entering this card into a "Mothers Day Challenge" at MCT there has to be a MCT flower on it. I am also entering the  May Linky Party at DL.Art.

Yesterday I received my first order from Close to My heart.  My friend Diana from DL.Art is a new consultant for the company.  I was so excited to try out the Artiste cartridge.  First my first project I decided to make a pop-up card.  The bird on the front is from the same cartridge.  I used K&Company papers.  The glitter is Martha Stewart.  I don't know what stamp I used for the inside sentiment, there is no name on it.     .I am entering this into the BBTB2 Birds of a Feather Challenge

GIRLFRIENDS ARE FOREVER

A work friend of mine is no longer going to be servicing our store.  Through the last few years we have become good friends.  I made this card to look like the new group of clothing we got in.  Janis at PAUSE, DREAM &ENJOY is having a "Friendship" Linky party. 

The solid papers are Cor'dinations.  All other is DCWV .  The dress die is My Creative Time.  I don't know sho the stamp is by-I think Fiskars.  The tile on the inside is Cloud 9, the tag is Martha Stewart.  Gems are from my stash

Hello.  My friend   Carri asked me to be a guest designer on her blog.  I am featuring her handmade Skittles.  They add beautiful dimension and color to your projects.  I used Cranberry, Watermelon and Lettuce on my project.  Followers who comment on Carri's Guest design Post and My Guest Design post will be entered to win some fun skittles.

I used a Cathy Davis paper pad called "Ambrosia"  The telephone stamp and sentiment are from Stamps of Life, "Phone 4 You" set. I inked around the edges with Tim Holtz Distressed Ink in "Victorian Velvet"   .The top die cuts are Spellbinders "Labels Eight".  The bottom die is My Creative Times "Curly Label Die".  I used Martha Stewart Pearl Glass paint on the phone dial.

I made this cute little ladybug card to fit 2 challenges.  BBTB2 is having a "Ladybug Challenge"  and DIE CUTTING DIVAS is having an awesome Sketch challenge.  I knew I didn't want to use black, red and white.  I just made a pink and green ladybug card.  So I chose red, yellow and pink.

LETS GO FLY A KITE

My favorite song from Mary Poppins is "Lets Go Fly A Kite"  when i saw that FCCB was having a challenge to use a kite or balloon.  I learned the border technique at the Scrapbook Expo from Demo Donna.  The company is Sparkle and Sprinkle.  They have awesome glitter.
