DANCING CROCADILE

Twinkle Toes is one of my favorite cartridges.  I haven't used this cut before.  When I saw the current "Let's Dance" challenge at BBTB2, I knew what to do.  This card is based on a sketch Challenge at FCCB  All of the solid papers are DCWV, the patterned is Hobby Lobby.  I Used MCT border die on the left edge.  I ran the croc thru the cuttlebug using Tiny Bubbles/  I hand cut the banner, the gem is from my stash.  Oh and to make it more fun I put my sweet dancing gal on an Action Wobble.  I am also linking to DL.ART-Thankful Thursday Linky

FROG ON A CHALKBOARD

I made this card to enter in a frog challenge over at BBTB2.  I used Crate A critter fo the lilypad and frog.  All of the other dies are My Creative Time.  The chalkboard papers are Recollections, the birght colors are DCWV.  I love these big new sentiments by MCTChalkboard-Birthday-Stamp-Die-Set  The embossing powder is Paper Source

CUP OF TEA

It is Tea Time over at BBTB2.  The challenge is to make a project with a tea cup of tea pot on it.  I decided to use this fun image from the Suburbia cartridge.  I hope you can see the  tea cup.  The sentiment is from MY CREATIVE TIME-"All You Need is Coffee Stamp Set" The oval dies are also My Creative Time.  The sentiment label is by Spellbinders.The solid papers are Core'dinations Black magic.  The white embossed is DCWV.  The checked paper is from my stash.  I will be linking up to DL.Art-Thankful Thursday May Linky Party and to LITTLE SCRAP PIECES-Show it Off Saturday

HAPPY FIRST MOTHERS DAY

Hello, I have been have a tough week, missing my mom.  I wanted to make a few cards for friends and for my niece's first Mother's Day.  For this card I used A Childs Year.  The base paper is Core'dinations, The pink floral paper is Paper Studio.  The doilie is Wiltons.  The pearls and flowers are from Hobby Lobby.

RACCOON ON A BIKE

A while ago I purchased a stamp MCT stamp set tha has the sentiment "Riding through life with you, is a dream come true,"  BBTB2 are having an "I want to ride my bicycle" challenge.DIE CUTTING DIVAS are having a Kid Challenge,  I used Campin critters for the image.  All of the papers are DCWV.  I used skittles by Carri at Doubleclick to embellish the corners of the sentiment.  I placed this cute image on an Action Wobble, the are having an anything goes challenge.  I hope you like this card, it is alot more toned down than my usual projects.  i am also linking up to DL.Art Thankful Thursday Linky Party

A FEW LAST MINUTE CHALLENGES

I think I tried to make this card for too many challenges.  To begin with I used a MOJO MONDAY sketch.  BBTB2 are having a "Outlook-Partly Cloudy" Challenge and Die Cutting Divas are having a challenge honoring National Garening Month.  The clouds are from Create A Critter and the rosemary sign is from Freshly Picked.  The solid papers are DCWV and the veggie paper is Jillibean Soup.  The sentiment and sentiment die are My creative Time.The flower is Recollections.

FLORAL SYMPATHY CARD

My friend from high school lost her mother to cancer.  I made this card to send to her. I got my inspiration from 2 challenges.  DIE CUTTING DIVAS are having an April Sketch Challenge and BBTB2 are having a Spring Flower Challenge.  I used the Cricut cartridge "Florals Embellished."The base paper is Core'dinations, the floral is Authentique and the rest is DCWV.  I used 3 Girl Jam ribbon for the three stripes on the sketch.  The sentiment banner, sentiment and circle die are all My Creative Time.

PREGNANCY CONGRATS

I made this card for my friend.  She just found out that her daughter is having twins.  I am working on another card fro a diferent friend whose daughter is having a baby.  For this card I used Everyday Pop-Up Cards.  I haven';The base frame is Spellbinders Exquisite Frames Eleven.  The flowers are a Heartfelt Creations Die.  All of the papers are DCWV.  The sequins are Teresa Collins.The sentiment and sentiment die is from MCT.

There are a few shaped card challenges this week.  I decided to use this owl cut from Wild Card 2/  I cut the card at 2.25 in.  The base cardstock is Core'dinations, the other solids are Paper Studio Adhesives.  The patterned is Basic Grey.  The sentiment tag is MCT, the sentiment is Scrappy Moms.  I ran the branch thru my Cuttlebug   The skittle is from doubleclick

Hello.  The sun is shining today, I love how bright the house is.  BBTB2 is having a Cricut phrase or word challenge.  There are some great cartridges with words on them, my favorite two are Once upon a Princess and Sweet Treats.  I chose a sentiment from Sweet Treats.  The card base is DCWV, the solids, and the candle paper are Paper Studio.  I used a cuttlebug Birthday embossing folder, The crinkle ribbon is form Elegant Bits in Niles, CA.  The Skittles are from DOUBLE CLICK CONNECTIONS.  I am also linking up to DL Art January Linky Party and to LITTLE SCRAP PIECES-Show It Off Saturday Linky Party.

ANOTHER LAYOUT

I can't believe I have made two layouts in a week.  The Close To My Heart cartridge Artbooking makes scrapbooking so easy, but not cookie cutter.  You can mix and match the photo frames and page layouts.  The solid pearl papers are from Core'dinations.  The patterned papers are Carta Bella.  Thr Pearls are from Hobby Lobby.  I am entering it into a snowflake challenge BBTB2 .  I am also linking up toDL.Art January Linky Party/

SUPRISE, SUPRISE- A POODLE IS MY FAVORITE CRICUT CUT

BBTB2 is having an "All Time Favorite Cricut Cut Challenge."  I love all of the poodle cuts.  But I think my all time favorite is from Twinkle Toes.  I am still searching for the Carousel cartridge-they have a cool poodle with a tutu on jumping thru a hoop.  I used the sketch from this weeks DIE CUTTING DIVAS  challenge.  The patterned papers are Julie Netting "Dress Me Up".  The glitterpaper is DCWV, the rest of the solids are Colorbok.
I used DOUBLECLICKCONNECTIONS skittles. The label die is from My Creative Time and the sentiment is Scrappy Moms.

AND A STOCKING WAS HUNG ON A BOX...

I need to make a few gift boxes for cosmetic presents.  This box was made using Artiste.  I only used one piece of double sided Carta Bella paper.  The ribbon is off of a box of cookies. the stocking cut is from Jolly Holidays.  The papers used on the stocking are Paper Studio.

GAME CONTOLLER BOX

Recently I switched jobs from retai to an after school.  The little boy turned 11.  He loves video game.  I got him a gift card to Game Stop.  BBTB2 is having an "Anything Goes" challenge.  I used the Wrap it Up cartridge for the box.  

All of the papers are DCWV.  The letter and banner dies are MCT.

SPREAD YOUR WINGS

FCCB is having a skwtch challenge and BBTB2 are having a butterfly challenge.  So I combined the  two.  I used Birthday bas for the butterly.  In the booklet the butterfly is carrying the number 9.  I chose not to use that .  The square card base is David Tutera.  The patterned papers are Basic Grey, the solids DCWV.  The banners on the side are MCT so is the sentiment.  The face is PKS Laffy Taffy.  The black and purple gems are K&Company.

I made this fun card to enter into a few challenges.  I used the cricut cartridge "Rock Princess."  I loosely based this card on the current MOJO Monday sketch.  The patterned papers are   Julie Nutting       .All others are DCWV.  I embossed the light purple with Cutllebug's Birthday folder.  The pink ribbon is 3 Girl Jam, the lavendar is from Little Scrap Pieces.  The sentiment is from MCT "WOW so many candles"

FALL PURSE

I made this fun purse to enter into BBTB2  "Stylish Purse Challenge."  I chose a purse from the Cricut "Forever Young" cartridge.  I used Heartfelt creations stamps and dies for the flowers.  Majestic Bloom die and Vintage Morning background. I stamped the flowers on white cardstock, then I cut them out with my Big Shot.  Next, I inked the flowers with several shades of Colorbox ink.  Then I turned the flowers over, sprayed them with water and curled them with a stylus.  Next I turned the flowers over and pushed in the center.  Then I sprayed with Tsukineko Glitter Spray.  Then I added glitter to the petals, layered the flowers and filled in the middles with glitter and beads all by Heartfelt Creations,  I inked up part of a doily and attatched it to the purse,  Then I added the flowers and some sequins.(They are a pkg that came with a blouse.)The bird embellishement is Jolies.

I hope everyone had a great weekend.  Usually I make one or two cards at a time.  I deided to try to makea few at a time, using one or two paper pads and some Mojo Monday sketches.  For this card I used MOJO sketch 244.  The papers are "Handsome Boy" by MME. The owl is from Paper Doll Dress-up.  I didn't use all of the layers.  The sentiment banner and dies are My Creative Time.  The owl is on an Action Wobble that I got from ROYAL CASTLE SHOPPE.I won a few of these a while ago from Janis at Pause, Dream, Enjoy.(That's why the owl looks a little tipsy)

POODLE BIRTHDAY

Usually I only make one card at a time.  When I saw this weeks MOJO MONDAY sketch, I decided to make 7 versions of the sketch.  I had a box of blank David Tutera  blank cards.  Here are 2 versions.

 The top card is cut from Once Upon a Princess.  The bone die is MCT.  The sentiment is Scrappy Moms.The ribbon was off a gift.  I embossed the circle with a Darice paw folder.  The solid chalkboard paper is DCWV.  The patterned papers are My Minds Eye.I am entering this card into The Dog Days of Summer Challenge at BBTB2

This second card uses the same papers.  The sentiment is from My Craft Spot.  The cut is Paisley and the lace is Recollections.
