MCIKEY WINTER SCENE

Hello.  I have not been blogging much lately due to a bad back.  I am having trouble sitting and sleeping. I wanted to make a quick card for my grand nephew.  They are going to Disneyland soon. So I bought the Cricut Mickey and Friends Cozy Christmas.  There are so many pieces to the cuts.  I decided to flatten the images and print and cut.  It was so easy and much less time sitting at my craft table.  First I cut some white glitter Core'dinations card stock for snow, then I added some snow flake paper for the sky.  I print and cut the house and car  from the  original Mickey and Friends cartridge.
I adhered the house to the snow scene then I added some rhinestones, trees and a wooden snowflake.
Next I cut a slit in the car and tucked the holiday clad Mickey and Minnie in the drivers seat.

YAPPY HOWLIDAYS

My husband decorates the  out side of our house.  I do the inside.  However, this year I decided to take over the porch.  I chose a dog theme.  I made the a banner that says "Yappy Howlidays"  I used Echo Park paw paper and DCWV glitter cardstock.  I cut the letters and the banner with my Cricut.  I tied it all together with Red Hot Love Crinkle Ribbon by DL.ART

WOBBLING REINDEER MAMA

Yahoo first Christmas card finished.  Every year I attend a few parties where there is a gift exchange.  I thought these cards would be fun to include with the gift. ART IMPRESSIONS is having a "Till You Wobble" challenge.  The image I used is from the AI Hampton Art Reindeer set that I got at Michaels last year.  I colored the image using a brush and ink from Marvy Markers.  The papers are Sugar and Spice Studio "Rockin' Christmas" available at Hobby Lobby.  The first card is on an Action Wobble.  I used the last one.  The second card is popped up with dimensionals.  The beautiful ribbon is RAO red from the Newspaper Bundle.  I am also entering this into the Show it off Saturday Challenge over at LITTLE SCRAP PIECES

Finally...Holiday Cards

This years Christmas card was a bit of disaster.  I bought a Sizzix shaped card die.  It was a gate fold design.  When my daughter came home at Thanksgiving she didn't want to take a picture.  So I found one with my husband and the three dogs.  I made about 20 cards.  Then he said I couldn't send it out .  The good news is I have a lot of cards started for next year.  I just have to take the photo earlier.  By the way the inside now says Happy New Year.

Treat Boxes

I had my coffee friends over for breakfast and wanted to give them a little treat.  I made these boxes using a My Creative Time die called Treat-Slider-Box-Die.  The papers and embellishments are Paper Studio by Hobby Lobby. The darling cats are You-Had-Me-At-Meow-Stamp-Set , also by MCT.  The two dogs are Cricut cuts.

Stella Xmas in July

Recently I won some stamps at .  Diana at DL.Art is having a Thankful Thursday Xmas in July Challenge.  Stella was colored with various brands of watercolor pencils.  I added Wink of Stella to the ornaments and Glossy Accents to her glasses.  Then I cut our the image with a Spellbinders Die.  The ribbon is from Gorgeous bits with a K&Company brad in the middle.  The papers are AC.

TRIANGLE BOX

Yesterday I went to a fun lipstick exchange party with a bunch of girlfriends.  It was so much fun.  I was running late and needed to wrap my gloss.  I made this box using Artiste page 68.  It is suppossed to be a rectangular box.  to fit my gloss I overlapped one section to form a triangular box.  The stamps and dog die are from  MCT-Loyal Friends.    The main paper is Echo Park.  The glitzy ribbon is Darice.  The red embossing powder is Paper Source.  The wooden snowflakes ar table scatter embellished with a skittle from DOUBLECLICK.

AND A STOCKING WAS HUNG ON A BOX...

I need to make a few gift boxes for cosmetic presents.  This box was made using Artiste.  I only used one piece of double sided Carta Bella paper.  The ribbon is off of a box of cookies. the stocking cut is from Jolly Holidays.  The papers used on the stocking are Paper Studio.

2ND POST TODAY-BEAUTIFUL SNOWLADY BOX

Tonight my bookclub is having a dinner and gift exchange.  I bought a beautiful Cat Eye make up kit.  I made a gift box using Artiste Cartriddge.  I made it to fit the page.  (The gift barely fit in) The base paper and the brad are from Echo Park.  The pink snowflake paper is Recollections.  The solids are Paper Studio Adhesive stacks. Oh Boy do I love this paper for small pieces. The dies are my favorite MCT Winter Snowman Dies.  The tag is also from My Creative time-Teeny Tag Greetings and Teeny Tag Holidays.The snowman and snowflake gems are Paper Studio. The ribbon was from a gift.

3 EMBELLISHMENTS

Hello.  It has been a while since I have posted.  My friend is getting married on Sunday, I made 106 favors.  Hope to post them after the wedding.  FCCB is having a "3 Embellishment" Challenge. Diana from DL. Art is having a Thankful Thursday Christmas Challenge. The papers are snowman paper is My Minds Eye,  The red and black papers are Paper Studio.  I used cricut Joys of the Season for the snowman cut.  The Ribbon is 3 Girl jam. The gem snowflakes, snowman and clothespins are Paper studio. The tags on the back and the "To and From" are from My Creative time.

FLEAS NAVIDAD

I am in love with My Creative Times Fleas Navidad, Loyal Friends, and Stitched Oval Die.  There is a Designer Challenge going on at MCT.CLICK HERE.  There are three diferent possibilities, a color challenge, a sketch or picture inspiration.  I chose to use the colors. The square dies are from Spellbinders. The rhinestones are Paper Studio.  I used one of the larger paw gems and attatched it to a small wooden clothespin from Paper Studio. PENGUIN STYLE

Three more holiday money and gift card holders.  Jolly Holidays is one of my favorite Cricut cartridges.  I cut 16 penguins out of 1 12X12 piece of cardstock.  More penguin projects coming soon.   The pearl papers are Core'dinations, the solid burgandy is DCWV and the paterned chalkboard paper is Paper Studio. The faces are Peachy Keen.  The sentiment is a Craft Smart stamp, ebossed with Versamark ink and Zing embossing powder.  For the envelope I used My Creative Time "Stitched Rectangular Frame Dies and More."(The rectangles on the front and the label on the back.)
The label for the slider is Spellbinders.  The Giftcard holder is a My Creative Time Die, as is the tag, flower, snowman and "to: from"  FCCB is having an "Anything Goes" Challenge

A few more money holders.  The deer is "Oh Deer" by MCT.  I love the deer in this set.  The papers are some holiday packs by Echo Park and Carta Bella.  The sentiment is Craft Smart stamped with Versamark ink and   Zing embossing powder.  The square dies are Spellbinders.  The snowflake pin is a plain little pin that I attatched a wooden snowflake to and put a Skittle in the middle.  Carri at DOUBLECLICK CONNECTIONS makes Skittles.  She is having a polka dot challenge.

I am making a lot of money holders for the holidays.  My friend asked for 14.  So I decided I would make 3 of everything.  Then I will have a big supply.  For this first batch I made a pink girlie one using my new dies from MCT  I am loving this new release.  The solid paper is Recollection, the polka dot and tag on the back are  from a Carta Bella set I got at the Scrabbook Expo.   The rest of the paper is scraps.  The decorative paper clip is Recollections.

CRAZY MONTH

Hello.  The month of December was crazy for me.   I had to be at work at 5am.   Most nights I don't get to bed until 11pm.  My daughter came home at Thanksgiving and left today.  She bought her two tiny dogs with her.  Then the toilet overflowed in her bathroom, we had to tear up the carpet in 2 bedrooms.  Hope to arrange for new carpet soon.  Also I had 42 for dinner on Christmas Eve.  So i apologize for not visiting your blogs for the last few weeks.  I hope to get back on track soon.  We have inventory on the 9th and 10th, which involves a few more overnight shifts.  Then i can relax.
Here are the goody bags I gave to my co-workers for the holidays.  I got these yummy Eos Lip balms at Costco.  The box is from Sweet treats.  The bird is from Jolly Holidays. The sentiment and sentiment dies are from MCT

SPARKLY MONEY HOLDERS FEMALE VERSION

This year I decided to personalize the money holders I am making for my nieces and nephews.  Here is the girly version.  I used My Creative time dies for all of the cuts except the striped label which is Spellbinders.  The stamps are also MY CREATIVE TIME.  The papers are DCWV.
I used the MCT Stitched Giftcard Holder for the larger ones.  The smaller one are the Stitched Tri-fold Card.  I folded a piece back to form a little money pouch

50 Shades of Holiday Cards

Finally my holiday cards are finished.  Each one is different.  I didn't want to buy any new paper.  (well one pad)  It seems like I should be able to craft for a year without buying anything.  I started off with a Sizzix Framelets Flip-it die.  It comes with 11 pieces.  Everything you need to complete a card.  The embellishments are from Joys of the Season and Jolly Holidays. Black and White Holiday Card

Hello.  I finally spent some time in my craft room.  I have almost finished my holiday cards.  Hope to post soon.  FCCB is having a "Beyond Red and Green " challenge.  I had a large scrap of this paper.  It didn;t have the name on it.  Then I cut the reindeer from Joys of the Season.  The die is Spellbinders.  The black and the white glitter paper is Core'dinations.  The silver is DCWV.  The snowflake is K&Company.

Hello,  I can;t believe how long it has been since my last post.  Work is very busy.  Also, my son Robert, is involved in a Boys Team Charity.  We had a sorting and packing event at our home for Operation Christmas Child.
