I am making decorations for my friend's daughter's baby shower. The colors are grey, teal and coral. the babys name is Coral. For the banner I used Birthday Bash. The elephant is Sugar and Spice. The letters are Storybook
The papers are DCWV. The ribbons are from Hobby Lobby.
For the wreath I used:3 onesies, 2 pairs of leggings, 3 washclothes, 2 burp rags and an elephant blankie (All from Target)
There are 2 banners-"it's a Girl" then the wreath goes in the middle then the 2nd banner say "Baby Coral" It is going on a fence.

80 AND KNITTING AWAY
Tonight we are celebrating my mom's 80th. She is an avid knitter, always at Michaels or Joanne's . I made this giftcard holder for her. The numbers are from Storybook. The papers and twine are My Minds Eye. The Stamp and cordinating dies ar Sizzix. The label dies are Spellbinders. The giftcard die is from My Creative Time. My paper wasn't double sided so I cut it twice. The inks are Studio G. I am entering this into a birthday with number challenge at BBTB2 I am also entering it into DL. BOO BANNER
I made this fun banner for my cart I use at work. I used Pretty Pennants to cut the banner and Storybook for the font. All paper is Core'dinations. The spider is a stretchy toy that I got at Target. I couldn't findd any adhesive that would hold them on. I ended up trapping the legs behind the banner with Sookwang Taoe

A Few More Treat Pouches

Font Cartridge and Ribbon Challenges
I made this birthday card using only font cartridges. I used Storybook, Plantin Schoolbook and Cricut Font cartridges. Emma at My Creative Time is having a challenge using Font cartridges. http://www.creativetimeforme.com/search/label/Throwback%20Thursday I just got some "My Creative Time" dies. They are great and work well in my Cuttlebug. The white layer of the flower is made using the "Scallop and Stitched Circle" die. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO EWE

MAG CHALLENGE 40

This weeks challenge is to use the cuts on page 45 of "Storybook" one of my all time favorite cartridges. Usually I don't start to think about my holiday cards until after Halloween/ When I saw this cut, I saw an opportunity to get a head start. Unfortunately, my girls left for college before I took a picture of them. So here is this years card with last years photo.

THURSDAY'S CARD
Today I made a quick sympathy card for a friend who lost her mom. I used Cricut Storybook cartridge for the filigree design and Sentimentals cartridge for the phrase. I decided not to layer the phrase, instead I cut the blackout design and wrote the sentiment in with a metallic marker. That's my dog's head on the bottom.
MATERIALS:
5 1/4"X8 1/2 piece of patterned paper(S.E.I Bissett)
white pearlescent paper-Colorbok Walmart)
lemon paper(Colorbok-Walmart)
aqua textured paper(Colorbok-Walmart)
Cricut Sentimentals Cartridge
Cricut Storybook cartridge
ATG gun
aqua SRX Metallic Colorsharp pen
Zig 2 way glue pen
DIRECTIONS
1. Score patterned paper 4 1/4". Fold
2.Cut white pearl square 3"; aqua square 31/2"(Storybook pg.60 accent blackout-shift)
3.Cut lemon filigree square 3"(Storybook pg.60 accent frame-shift)
4.Cut sentiment shadow 1 1/2" (Sentimentals phrase-shift) write sentiment in with marker
5.Adhere filigree to white square using 2 way glue.
6.Attach aqua square to to of car leave a 1/4" border on top. Add filigree piece diagonally on top of aqua piece.
7.Attach sentiment, bottom center, with pop dots
