WISH BIG

I made this fun card to enter into a few challenges.  I used the cricut cartridge "Rock Princess."  I loosely based this card on the current MOJO Monday sketch.  The patterned papers are   Julie Nutting       .All others are DCWV.  I embossed the light purple with Cutllebug's Birthday folder.  The pink ribbon is 3 Girl Jam, the lavendar is from Little Scrap Pieces.  The sentiment is from MCT "WOW so many candles"

8th Grade Promotion

I amy not be posting too much for the next few weeks.  I making the decorations for the lobby of my son's school's MP room.  The theme of the Promotion Dance is After Party Rock style.  I am starting with this image, making 50 of them.  Then I am using the scraps for other cuts to be posted later.

M'EIGHTH

Scrappy Mom's Rock Princess Challenge

Scrappy Mom's is having a challenge using "Rock Princess"  I love their stamps, I have 3 sets (I can't find one)  Amazing animals has the saying "You're the Cat's Meow!"  That was my inspiration.  I used the cat cut on page 53.  I decided not to cut the layers.  I really wanted to showcase the papers I used.  I also used the diamond cut on p 56.  Check out Scrappy Mom Stamps at http://scrappymoms-stamps.blogspot.com/  I haven't decided if it will be for Valentines or a birthday.  My daughter, Lanie loves cats.

Rewind The Clock

I made this card for my high school friend, Linda.   Even though we have been out of school for over 35 years, we still laugh and giggle on the phone and reminesce   I started this card with the sentient "You can't turn back the clock, but you can wind it up again" by Bonnie Prudden.  Then I knew I had to use Rock Princess.

Button Birthday Card

This weeks challenge at Birthday Sundaes is to use buttons.  I really wanted to play with my newest cartridge "Rock Princess" and saw a few places where buttons would fit in.  The gold headlight is a button that I cut the shank off.  For the lips I used a marker on the lip  portion of a PKS stamp"Critter Faces"  I am going to make one for my daughter who just got a job at a rock and roll place in Scotsdale.

Finally I broke down and bought "Rock Princess"   I have seen so many cute projects made with these cuts.  I chose the Pirate Cupcake to enter into a pirate challenge at FCCB.  Also Birthday Sundaes is having a belated birthday challenge
