HOW MANY DOTS AND STRIPES ARE THERE

Here is my second entry for the Art Impressions Dots and Stripes Challenge.  I got the inspiration for this card from Sharon who is on the AI DT. Click Here.  After I started this card I got more inspiration from Renee on the Art Impressions blog.  I colored Marvy Markers on my pallette and used them as paints to watercolor the image from Art Impressions Get Well set.  The papers are Echo Park

ON THE BRIGHT SIDE, YOU DON'T HAVE TO WEAR A CONE

I love dog stamps.  So when I saw the adorable "Doggy Kisses" stamp set at the Scrapbook Expo, i knew I would have so much fun with them.  I colored up a bunch of these using water color markers and a brush.  The papers are Nikki Sivils. The center die is by Sizzix, the edge on is Spellbinders.  The beautiful ribbon is St. Tropez Gold from the Tropical Bundle by DL.ART.  I love this collection.

I'M THERE FOR YOU

My sister in law broke her ankle last week and had to have surgery on it.  So I made her this card using Dr. Check-up cartridge.  The patterned papers are "Go Girl" by MME.  The solids are Paper Studio Adhesive.  The sentiment is from My Creative Time.  I used Memento ink. The mattress is embossed with Swiss Dots, the tile floor is made with Honeycomb embossing folder by Cuttlebug

My friend Carri is having a Skittle bird challenge.CLICK HERE for more info.  For this card I used Give a Hoot cartridge.  The patterned papers are Cathy Davis Ambrosia.  I used Paper Studio papers for the solids.  The sentiment is from Jilliebean Soup.I used My Creative Time "Stitched Rectangular Frame Dies and More.  I am also linking up to DL. UNDER THE WEATHER

BBTB2 is having a Get Well Challenge.  Ironic, since I have been in bed for two days with the flu.  Also DIE CUTTING DIVASare having a Penguin Awareness Challenge.  What a great combo.  The penguin is from Jolly Holidays, the sick girl is from Dr. Checkup. The base card is Sizzix "Album Accordion" The labels are also Sizzix. It took me a while to figure this one out. The polka dot and stripe papers are Basic Grey.  All others are scraps.  The face is Peachy Keen.  The sentiments are from My Creative Time-"I'm Here for you Rain or Shine". Has anyone got any tips for stamping on cork?

HOPE YOU ARE BACK IN HEELS SOON

My daughter had bunion surgery today.  She is only 21 and has terrible problems with her feet.  She lives in Southern Claif we are in Northern.  I sent her a big care package along with this card.  I am linking up to LITTLE SCRAP PIECES  Anything Goes Fun Friday Linky Party and to DL. UNDER THE WEATHER

I made this card for a friend who had an accident and had to get stitches in her head.  I don't usually use so many patterned papers.  I decided to out line the umbrella with Perfect pearls.  I didn't like the gaps between the sections.  Diana at DL Art is having a get well or sympathy card challenge.

GET WHALE

When I first got Wild Card 2 , I wasn't thrilled with it.  I think it is the colors they use on the examples.  Now that I have been playing with it I love it.  I made this card for my sister-in-law who has been in the hospital.  I am entering this into the Creative Cutter Room "Googly Eye Challenge"CLICK HERE to see the fun creative design team projects and to enter this challenge

TALL UMBRELLA CARD

I made this tall card for a friend who just had her gall bladder out.  I had to cut the boot large in order to fit the puppy in.  So I made a 4"X8.5" card.

BANDAID CARD FOR CHALLENGE

I hope I can get this challenge in on time.  For some reason my I-Photo isn't working  I hope it is because my Norton is running.

Materials
Paper-K and Company-Amy Butler, K and Company Designer Mat Pad earth tones
Cricut-Wild Card, Cuttlebug with spots and dots and tiny bubbles folders
Pens-silver sharpie and Sakura white gel pen, Studio G green stamp  pad
Adhesives-Aileenes Clear Gel Tacky Glue
3M dimensional tape
DIRECTIONS
Cut card out of green cardstock(striupes on inside)at 5.00" Cut coordinating middle square out of biege paper.  Cut stethescope  and RX at 4.25" doctors bag at 2.5" and get better at 7"(that does not look right but thats what my Gypsy says)
Emboss both sides of the front of the card with tiny bubbles, emboss center part with spots and dots.  Using a green ink pad lightly go over embosed area of center piece. Adhere center piece to card with dimensional tape    glue RX to drs bag.  outline bag with white pen,  add to card with dimensional tape.  Glue stethescope to card.

GET WELL CARD FOR FANTABULOUS CRICUT CHALLENGE

I entered this card into the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge.http://fantabulouscricut.blogspot.com  YThis week's challenge was to make a get well card.
MATERIALS
Blank blue notecard 4.25" X 5,5"-Recollections
White pearl cardstock 4.5" X 3.5"-Paper Source
Scraps of blue,pink,white and black cardstock
Cricut Hello Kitty Cartridge
Cuttlebug with bubble folder
Blue and white pearls, red and clear rhinestones-Recollections
Zig two-way glue
Oval scallop punch-punch bunch
Pilot gel pen blue
ATG gun
DIRECTIONS
1.Run pearl cardstock through Cuttlebug using bubble folder. Adhere to center of card
2.Cut HK7 on page 44 of Hello Kitty manual. Cut at 2.5" out of white paper.  Silhouette out of black, bow out of red, blankets out of pink, Bed frame out of blue.  Glue silhouette to white figure using Zig 2 way glue,  Fill in silhouette with other cut pieces. 
3.Draw design on white sheets.  Decorate comforter with pearls. Embellish bedposts with clear rhinestones
4.Add black rhinestones for eyes, red for nose
5.Punch scallop oval out of pink paper-write sentiment with pilot pen "It's Icky being sicky"

6.Attach Hello Kitty embelishment to card Adhere sentiment in upper corner.
