For the last 5 days I have been sick with a fever and cold.  I made this card for a Sketch Challenge at DIE CUTTING DIVAS  I didn't realize that the image I cut from 3 Birds on Parade would be so huge.  I decided to use it any way.  I am also entering a Halloween Challenge at 2 CREATIVE CHICKS

57 ANNIVERSARY CARD

Yesterday my parents celebrated their 57th anniversary.  I made this card with a Spellbinders die that I got on Clearance.  It is a fold and tuck die.  I noticed the sentiment is crooked.  Oh well, I already gave it to them.

LADYBUG IN A CIRCLE

I am loving the Sketch Challenge at DIE CUTTING DIVAS.  I used a Spellbinders die for the base.  The Lady bug is from "Just Because Cards."   The papers are DCWV, except for the Polka Dot which is Echo Park.  The ribbon is Recollections.  The stamp is The Stamps of Life. I needed to have some extra "thinking of you" cards.  I saw a few non-halloween challenges that I wanted to enter.  My Creative Time is having a Designer Challenge that requires 3 flowers, bling and a color scheme. CLICK HERE for details.  Karen at LITTLE SCRAP PIECES is having a "Use Blue " challenge. and Creative Cutter Room  is having a sketch and embossing challenge.  It is hard to see the embossing on my project the Spellbinders Shapeabilitie sets I used for the flowers are embossed.  It is hard to see on patterned paper.

BIRTHDAY GIRL

Here is a card I made for a friend's 50th birthday.  I had my Twinkle Toes  cartridge out from a project I made last week.  Boy there are some cute cuts on there.  I didn't use the tut or bow cut.  Instead I used some ribbon that I had won from "Little Scrap Pieces"   Speaking of "Little Scrap Pieces" Karen is having a pink challenge.CLICK HERE to see two great cards using Kate's ABCs and information on the challenge.  (On my wish list)  All paper is DCWV, except for the base which is Colorbok.  I used Spellbinders Labels Eight for the center pieces and Elmers Designer Masking Tape. HELLO.  Happy Sunday.  I colored this image a while ago, then I couldn't decide what to do with it,  While flipping through the blogs I saw that Karen at Little Scrap Pieces is having a "Make it Sparkle"  Challenge.  My friend, Diana from DL Art is the guest designer.  I added sparkle with Clebrate it glitter ribbon, Stickles and Perfect Pearls.  The paper also has glitter on it.  The sparkles twinkle a lot more in person.
