BIRD CARD
Here is a quick card that I made with a kit I got in the dollar section of Target. It came with 3 small notecards, ribbon, gems, stickers and bird embellishments. I cut up the note cards and put them on a 5"X7" card I made from DCWV paper. The polka dot ribbon is Celebrate It. The only other thing I used is my ATG gun. The bird and the flower are felt. I am entering this into a bird challenge at CAS-ual Fridays CLICK HERE for more information.

THROW BACK THURSDAY CHALLENGE
Hello, I am feeling much better today, Still have aching fingertips, but a lot more energy. Emma at Creative Time for Me http://www.creativetimeforme.com/ is having a "Cricutless Challenge" She suggests using punches. My punch collection is very limited. So I decided to use stickers. I made glitter paper with Sook Wang double sided tape and Crystal Glitter Ritz. Then I added Silhouette bird stickers from Elizabeth Craft Designs. I colored in the birds with Martha Stewart Glitter Pens. I made a 6X6" card using Colorbok cardstock. The scalloped edge is a K&Company border that I cut in half. The square sentiment says :smile" It is from Heidi Snapp (Blog candy that I won from Lezlye at http://lezlyes.blogspot.com/) The Ribbon is from Michaels Easter collection. I used Recollection pop dots, ATG adhesives. The stickers are K&Company. I think this will make a fantastic anniversary card

QUICK CRICUTLESS GIFT CARD HOLDER
Over the last few months I have accumulated quite a few K&Company "Sweet N"et Nectar" Pads and border pads. This card was made with the "Sweet Nectar Die-Cut Cardmaking Pad" and Co=ordinating "Sweet Nectar Specialty Punch-out Pad" I scored the card 1.5" up from the straighe edge. then folded in half to make card. Tape 1.5" edges to form pocket. To front of card I added the ruller border, flower and corners from the Specialty pad. In the middle of the flower I put a "K & Co flower brad" I attatched some pink ribbon using my ATG tape gun. I used 3M dimensional tape to pop up embellishments. I haven't added a sentiment because I don't know if it is for a birthday or a teacher-thank you card.

Non Cricut Cards
Can you believe how successful MOMO's blog link is. I have so many new followers. Last Friday the "Scrap Expo" was at my local fairgrounds in Pleasanton, CA. I went around all of the booths, stocked up on some basics. One booth, Stamping Fools, really caught my eye. It is a technique that uses clear sticky tape, glitter, black silhouette stickers and markers. Today I am showing the technique where you color on top of the glitter.
