Cricutless Challenge-crafting with Christina

Yeah.. Lately I have been making a lot of cricutless cards.  Now there is a challenge which I can enter them into.  This card uses a technique where I make my own glitter paper, then ad silhouette stickers, color them in and cut around them.  I don't know what I just did, but I erased abunch of pics from my IPhoto.  The Patterned paper is from my new DCWV
Papers-Purple glitter paper, Striped glitter paper-DCWV  White carstock-Colorbok
Adhesives-Sookwang 2.5"double sided tape, ATG,3M dimensional tape
Glitter-Crystal glitter Ritz-Cool Highlight
Stamp-Craftsmart-Michaels $1 bin
Ink pad-G studio-Michaels $1 bin
Ribbon-Michaels $1
Make a 2.5 X 5" piece of glitter paper using White cardstock, adhesive tape and glitter.  Add stickers to glitter paper color in with Sharpies, cut around sticker.
Make a 4.75X 6.5" card.  Cut 4.5X 6.25 piece of striped card stock , Adhere ribbon using ATG tape to left side of card, apply to center front of card.  Adhere butterfly, bee and lady bug, using dimensional tape
Stamp sentiment, cut around it and adhere to bottom left of card

And the winner is... Ray from   I numbered each ccomment from both posts and had my son pick a number There were 19 entries he picked 14.  I haven't figured out how to do the random widget.  I am also going to send a matt pad and some ribbon to the actual 100th follower.  The funny thing is he actually picked the 100th follower.  Thank you to everyone who left comments.  I look forward to seeing your projects.  I have a few things completed that I hope to post today

Spring Card for FCCB Challenge

I originally made this card to enter in a challenge at Cardztv  but I was an hour too late.  No worries, FCCB is having a "Looks Like Spring" challenge. This card combines a cricut cut with the tape and glitter projects I have been working on.  Instead of making your own white glitter paper you could use any DCWV or any other brand

Cut image on pg 32 of A Childs Year at 2.5"    Adhere to card using ATG tape.  Adhere ribbon to top of card.  I used the middle of the frame inside the card.

WOW WHAT A DIFFERENCE A WEEK MAKES.  This time last week i had about 30 followers.  Now I am at 94.  So Lets Celebrate in a bloggy way.  This is my first attempt at giving away candy.  I decided to do a girly theme.  There are some brads that have purses on them, a purse stamp with matching file folders, some pearl stickers, green animal print ribbon and some green flat cards  Please leave a comment with the best way to contact you.  And tell me a project you keep saying you are going to try and haven't.  Mine is a banner-really want to make one just seems like it would take too much time.  Another thing I want to learn is quilling, I bought all the stuff this weekend-one step in the right direction.  I hope I am not the only procrastinator  out there.
