JOYOUS HOLIDAY RAGS

I decided to get started on holiday projects.  For these tags I used the tag feature on "Joys of the Season".  To begin with I cut the design layer out of blue chalkboard paper by DCWV.  Then I cut a blank, larger tag out of black.  I backed the cut outs with Sook Wang tape.  I used Martha Stewart glitters and flocking.  The micro beads are Recollections.  I used MCT sentiments and die for the bow.  The pearls are Paper Studio.  The polar bear tag is embossed with a cuttlebug folder that has a skittle in the middle.  I used Sew Easy thread, 3 Girl jam ribbon, My Minds Eye twine and ribbon scraps.  The patterned papers on the cup and mittens are Paper Studio.  I am entering this into FCCB "Tag You are it challenge"  I am also linking up to DL Art Thankful Thursday September Linky Party

50 Shades of Holiday Cards

Finally my holiday cards are finished.  Each one is different.  I didn't want to buy any new paper.  (well one pad)  It seems like I should be able to craft for a year without buying anything.  I started off with a Sizzix Framelets Flip-it die.  It comes with 11 pieces.  Everything you need to complete a card.  The embellishments are from Joys of the Season and Jolly Holidays. I love the Fantabulous cricut Challenges and look forward to them every week.  Last week my card made top 5.  So excited.  This weeks challenge is to make a Holiday card.  CLICK HERE to join in the fun.  I am also linking up to DL. Hello.  I finally spent some time in my craft room.  I have almost finished my holiday cards.  Hope to post soon.  FCCB is having a "Beyond Red and Green " challenge.  I had a large scrap of this paper.  It didn;t have the name on it.  Then I cut the reindeer from Joys of the Season.  The die is Spellbinders.  The black and the white glitter paper is Core'dinations.  The silver is DCWV.  The snowflake is K&Company.

accordian fold score marks
decorate with snowflake ornament pg 60 at 2 3/4" and polar bear cut at 1 3/4"
cut photo to 3 1/4" X 3 1/2"  mount on 3 1/2" X 4 1/4" cardstock
