Stella is visiting from London

My cousin Bridget and her daughter Stella came from London to celebrate Stella's 14th Birthday.  We had so much fun together.  I grew up in Bristol, England, moved to America when I was 10.  I didn't have andy cousins close by.  The last time I saw bridget was 16 years ago.  We have such a great connection.  I am planning a trip to London in the next year or two.  We went to Carmel for the day.  Stella loves to shop, the outlets were the perfect place for birthday shopping.

It has been a while since I posted anything.  I am finding it dificult to share a laptop with my husband.  Hopefully that situation will be remedied soon.  I just received Ana Griffins Bohemian Dies and Paisley papers.  They are so much fun to play with .  I also used the Tassle die set.

UNICORN CAKE TOPPER

My friend went to the bakery to get a small unicorn themed cake for her 3 year old granddaughter's birthday.  It was very expensive.  So I made her this cake topper using Cricut Access in Design Space.  It turned out so darn cute

My Grand niece Sophie celebrated her first birthday this weekend.  The theme of the party was Mermaids.  She had so much fun carrying a giant seahorse balloon around.   I decided to capture the moment in a scrapbook page.  I began with a sheet of Echo Park "Lets Be Mermaids" cardstock.  I cut the frame and mermaid in Cricut Design Space.  Then I added a big Mint Julep and Berry Sorbet bow.

I began my card by making a black 5X7 base.  Then I added an Anna Griffin Tassel and Finge Die Set-I used the rug and canopy dies.  Then I added a poodle and and sentiment from the AG Canine stamp and die set. I threaded DL.ART Midnight Crinkle Ribbon thru 2 of the holes in the rug.  Then I tied a bow in the corner.

DL.ART Thankful Thursday Challenge #233-Baby

Good morning.  It s time for  a new challenge over at DL.ART- I am so excited the theme is "Baby".  Of course you can always substitute a Thank You card.  A lot of my friends are becoming grandparents.  I made this card for my friends-her son and his wife are expecting a boy.  Have you checked out all of the fun buttons and Crinkle ribbon in the DL.ART store ?  I love the buttons and the Baby Flair buttons are perfect for this challenge.  The Baby Bundle has Baby Pink, Baby Blue and Sweet dreams. I began by cutting the overalls on my cricut.  I then covered a 5X7 card base with yellow Embellish card stock and some We R Memory Makers polka dot paper  I added a strip of Sweet Dreams crinkle ribbon.  Then I made a rosette wth Baby Blue Crinkle Ribbon.  I added a tassle of Yellow and White Basic Twine.  Then I added The "boy" button from Baby Flair Buttons.
