DL.ART THANKFUL THURSDAY NOVEMBER LINKY CHALLENGE

Good Morning.  It is the beginning of a new month that means its time for  the DL.ART ANYTHING GOES NOVEMBER LINKY CHALLENGE.  There are so many fun products in the DL.ART store.  I love all of the buttons and ribbon bundles. For this challenge I used Mocha from the Coffee House Bundle 2 and Steel Blue from the Blues bundle. Diana gives my readers a 10% discount-just use the code k34510 at checkout.  

Heart felt Creations has the cutest Pampered Puppy stamp set.  I colored in the image using Marvy markers.  Then I cut it out with a Spellbinders Die. The Back ground paper is Paper Studio.  I wrapped the Mocha ribbon around the bottom of the card and added a Steel Blue bow that I secured with brown and white twine.

DL.ART THANKFUL THURSDAY CHALLENGE #215

Hello.  It is time for a brand new challenge over at DL.ART.  The theme is Sparkle and Ribbon.  Diana has the most gorgeous bundles of ribbon.  Be sure to check out the great collections of ribbon and buttons at the DL.ART store.  For my project I used Crown from the Gold bundle.  I love this shade of gold, and Chalk from the Newspaper Bundle.  Diana offers my readers a 10% discount-just use the code k34510 at checkout.

For this challenge I made a 50th anniversary party.  The patterned paper and the jewel are from the party invitation.  I cut the heart and the 50 using Cricut Design space.  The pearl swirls are from  my stash.  I mounted the main matt on to some DCWV gold foil card stock, then onto some Quartz sparkly cardstock by Paper Studio.  I threaded the Chalk and Crown ribbons thru the Starfish, then adhered the whole thing to a 5X7 card base.

TWO SUSHI CARDS

My husband is Japanese and we eat a lot of sushi.  When I saw this Lawn Fawn "Lets Roll" stamp set, I had to have it. The sentiments are great.  I used "Arigato" which means Thank you and "Soy Happy for you",  I began by stmping lots of images on Canson Water Color paper.  Then I swiped some Marvy markers on to my palette and water colored them.  I fussy cut all of the images and mounted them on the card front.  The papers are Basic Grey "Konnichiwa"

A SCENIC CARD-INSIDE AND OUT

Art impressions are having a Stamp a Scene Challenge.  For this card I decided to a use the Cottage and Die set.I began by stamping the image with Marvy Sepia.  I die cut the widow and door.  Then I watercolored the image using Marvy Markers.  Then I made an A2 card out of Watercolor paper.  I drew around the cottage, cut out the door and window and created an outdoor scene using WC Flower Set 2, the tree is from the  Covered Bridge Set.  The grass and foilage are from WC Foilage set 1.  After I finished the background I adhered the cottage to the front of the card.  Then I stamped and watercolored the inside image using the Make a Wish Set

DL.ART THANKFUL THURSDAY CHALLENGE #214 FALL COLORS

The leaves are turning orange, brown and red.  I love the smells and colors of fall.  We have a wide range of temperatures in Northern California.  DL.ART is having a Fall Color Challenge.  You can always substitute a Thank You card.  I made 2 cards for this challenge using Burnt Leaf and Green Leaf-Fall Bundle.   I also added some Basic Twine.

WOBBLING METALLIC BIRDHOUSES

Over the weekend I went to an art store and purchased a set of Gansai Tambi Starry Color water colors.  I had been wanting to try these for some time.  I began by inking a few branches from the new Art Impressions WC set.  I inked the stamps with Marvy Marker Sepia.  I stamped the branches on the edges, then i softened them with a wet paint brush.  Next, I painted the tiny leaf stamp from Foilage Set 2 with the metallic paints.  I randomly added the leaves to the branches.  I also painted a gold border around the square.  I watercolored the sky with a Zig Clean Color Marker.  Then I stamped, colored and fussy cut some birdhouses and a bird from the Bird Bath Set.  I attatched the birdhouses with a mini action wobble, that I cut down. The sentiment is from the Garden Window Mini Try Fold Set.   The ribbon is DL.ART Chalk White
