WHERE HAVE I BEEN

A few weeks ago I treated myself to the Cricut Explore.  Since then I have spent hours trying to hook up my cartridges.  I guess Cricut Craft Room is not compatible with newest version of Mac software. I called Cricut they told me to use a PC and e-mailed me a few steps.  I thought I had it figured out.  After 7 hours of what I thought was uploading my Gypsy to Cricut Craft Roon nothing had synced.  To make a long story short, I spoke with someone from Cricut who was very nice and patient with me.  At this point I was ready to take the thing back.  I wanted to make a project with Life Is a Beach, which I own.  Circuit were very helpful, they went into my computer and still couldn't get my carts on my gypsy into circut Craftroom.  So then I had to take photos of the front and back of my carts and create a list.  Anita at Cricut was wonderful.  I hope to create a few projects with it tomorrow.  Has anyone else had this problem?

  2. Hi Katie, first congrats on your new Cricut, my daughter bought me a Mother's Day/Birthday/Christmas gift one this year. I love it however I was having trouble using the Blue Tooth on my old IMac, I switched to my old PC via USB cord and things are moving along fine now. Good luck and enjoy, the machine cuts beautifully, I really enjoy mine. Hugs, Lori m

  3. I hope it all works out for you! That can be so frustrating but at least you are getting the help from Cricut! I have been in the middle of remodeling my craft room so I haven't even attempted to mess with my Cricut Explore yet. I need to do that soon~fingers crossed that I have no issues!
I hope you and your family have a wonderful Christmas!

  4. Congrats on your new Explore, but oh, what a nightmare. I was worried when I hooked mine up because I sold all of my cartridges. I had them loaded onto the old Cricut Craft Room and on my Gypsy. Thankfully, they transferred right over to Design Space. It's been a year ago so I'm not sure how I did it...I think they transferred from CCR and not my Gypsy, but I'm not positive. I hope you are able to get it all figured out. It really is an awesome machine. I really need to use mine more. Keep us posted with the progress!! Have a great day :)
