EMBOSSED BUNNY

Hello.  I spent the weekend in Hollywood visiting my two daughters.  There was a little drama on Friday before I left.  To begin with my daughters condo complex caught on fire.  Luckily she lives on the other side.  She had to evacuate in her robe, with her two dogs.  She was interviewed on the news.  Sadly one of the residents lost their dog in the fire.  Then I went to print my boarding pass and somehow the reservation wasn't showing up.  After many phone calls I got it fixed.  The trip was so much fun  we celebrated our birthdays together.  But I am glad to be in my quiet little town.
I made this card for my son.  Do you think he will notice the pink eye?  I used the card feature on Birthday Bash.  I made the ruffled collar by gathering some crinkle ribbon that I won from LITTLE SCRAP PIECES.  By the way they are having a "Make Your Own Embellishment" Challenge.  FCCB is having an Easter Challenge.  Die Cutting Divas are having an "Embossing With Ribbon" Challenge.  and DL.ART is having an Easter Challenge. Also BBTB2 is having a use a cricut card feature challenge.

LETS GO FLY A KITE

My favorite song from Mary Poppins is "Lets Go Fly A Kite"  when i saw that FCCB was having a challenge to use a kite or balloon.  I learned the border technique at the Scrapbook Expo from Demo Donna.  The company is Sparkle and Sprinkle.  They have awesome glitter.

I made this cute egg box treat holder.  At the Scrap Expo, I learned so much from watching demos.  I fell in love with this silver 3D Stamp Paint by Viva.  My friend Diana from DL ART  and I had so much fun learning new techniques.  I cut the little bag from Plantin Schoolbook.  The egg is from Damask Decor. I am going to Los Angeles to celebrate my birthday and my daughters.  She turns 21 next week.  I made this banner for her.  The pennants are Spellbinders.  The center medallion is from My Creative Time.  The letters are from a set I got at Costco years ago.  The papers are DCWV and Colorbok,  The

HEY CHICKADEE

Yesterday was such a fun and creative day. I worked from 630-10:30 am.  Then I went to The Scrapbook Expo in Pleasanton.  I met up with a few of my bloggy friends. one, I recognized from her blog picture.  Although I didn't take any classes, I learned alot by watching demos.  My first project here is with a stamp and die kit from STAMPS OF LIFE I used Framelits Dies with Stamps- Easter and Pinwheels 2 Stamp.  I am entering this into DL ARTl Thankful Thursday Easter Challenge.

I made the base of the card using the egg die. I then cut the egg again using cloud paper. To make the card stand up I glued the grass to the bottom. of the card.
