DL.ART THANKFUL THURSDAY PENGUIN OR BLCK, WHITE AND YELLOW CHALLENGE

Today Diana has a new Thankful Thursday Challenge-penguins or Black, White and Yellow.  I decided to do both on my card.   The penguin is standing on Midnight Black ribbon from the Newspaper Bundle .  I tied the balloons with the DL.ART Basic Twine-black and white and yellow and white.  Diana gives my readers a 10% discount-just use the code K34510 at check out.  She has some gorgeous new colors in her shop.
I cut the image with my explore the balloons are from Birthday bash-the penguin is part of the Cricut subscription. The tiny flowers are from Hobby Lobby -all of the papers are DCWV

SINGING BIRD

I made this card for my boss's mothers birthday.  I designed it in Cricut Design Space.  The bird is from Nifty Fifties.  The sentiment is Paper Lace 2.    The papers are DCWV.  The googlie eye and the feather are from my stash.

EVERYTHING IS BETTER WITH A FRIEND

I made this fun card for a special friend.  The stamp set I used is CTMH "Better with a Friend".  Diana at DL.ART  is a CTMH consultant.  I love the sentiment inside-"Everything is Better With a Friend".  I stamped the image with Ranger Archival Ink.  Then I water colored the image using a paint brush and Marvy Markers.  The other papers are MME-"Skys the Limit"I used Stitched Postage Frames and Stitched Rectangular Frame Dies and More by My Creative Time. The beautiful ST. Tropez Gold ribbon is by Diana at DL.ART.  The long rectangular die is by Spellbinders

 

CIRCUS POODLE

Boy am I enjoying my Explore.  I have wanted the Carousel Cartridge just for the poodle cut.  Now it is free with the Cricut Design Space subscription.  Last time Hobby Lobby had a paper sale I bought the Circus pad.  I followed a sketch on the current DIE CUTTIN DIVAS SKETCH CHALLENGE.
I cut apart a few pages of the Circus pad to make the stripes.  There is a lot of cutting and pasting on this card.  The solid papers are DCWV.  I put 3 SKITTLES by carri at Double click Connections.

NEW STUFF

Recently I purchase a Cricut Explore.  I had for a few weeks before I started using it.  I had a lot of problems linking my carts, but Anita at Cricut really helped me out.  I have wanted the Art Nouveau Cart for a while, it is one of the carts that come with a subscription.  For this project I used papers from Hobby Lobby.  The adhesive solid papers came in handy for all of the small pieces.   The lacy background is also from Cricut Explore.   I added 4 Terra Skittles by Carri at Double-click Connections. The burgundy mat is a spellbinders die.  The gem flourish is Paper Studio.

Finally...Holiday Cards

This years Christmas card was a bit of disaster.  I bought a Sizzix shaped card die.  It was a gate fold design.  When my daughter came home at Thanksgiving she didn't want to take a picture.  So I found one with my husband and the three dogs.  I made about 20 cards.  Then he said I couldn't send it out .  The good news is I have a lot of cards started for next year.  I just have to take the photo earlier.  By the way the inside now says Happy New Year.
