BATHING BEAUTY BIRTHDAY CARD

My friend Carri is having an Animal Challenge at DOUBLECLICK SKITTLES.  I used Crocs Rule for the image. The green patterned card base and the blue squiggly papers arei K&Company;The The orange dotted glitter paper is DCWV and the polka dotted stripe is from Paper Studio.  The papers for the hat are scraps  I cut the main cut three times,(Black, silver-faucets, and brown-brush handle).  The ribbon is from Little Scrap Pieces.  The riick rack is from my stash.  The skittles are from Carri-don't they make awesome bubbles.  The sentiment and die are from MCT.  I used 4 diferent patterned papers-FCCB is having a Mix and Match challenge.  You must use at least 3 patterned papers.  I am lso linking up to DL. FAMILY MAKES LIFE BEAUTIFUL

I decided to make a different type of Thanksgiving card to send to my girls.  This has been a tough year with the passing of my mom.  I wanted the girls to know how strong we are.  MCT are having a Color or Sketch challenge.  The colors are grey, a muted blue, 2 shades of green and brown.  I used a MOJO MONDAY sketcch for inspiration.  The floral paper is Paper Studio, all others are DCWV. I started by stamping the dark green paper with "build a scripty-watercolor background" I used Versamark ink and Stamp Affair embossing powder.  For the tag I used "Just Tags"  The leaf and the "Happy Fall Y'all" are from "Piles of Smiles"  "Family" and "makes life beautiful" are from "Family is Everything" stamp and die set.  I also used "Build a Banner Kit" and Scallop & Stitched Circle Die"  The big flower is by Paper Studio-Spare Parts.  I am also linking up to DL. FALL PURSE

I made this fun purse to enter into BBTB2  "Stylish Purse Challenge."  I chose a purse from the Cricut "Forever Young" cartridge.  I used Heartfelt creations stamps and dies for the flowers.  Majestic Bloom die and Vintage Morning background. I stamped the flowers on white cardstock, then I cut them out with my Big Shot.  Next, I inked the flowers with several shades of Colorbox ink.  Then I turned the flowers over, sprayed them with water and curled them with a stylus.  Next I turned the flowers over and pushed in the center.  Then I sprayed with Tsukineko Glitter Spray.  Then I added glitter to the petals, layered the flowers and filled in the middles with glitter and beads all by Heartfelt Creations,  I inked up part of a doily and attatched it to the purse,  Then I added the flowers and some sequins.(They are a pkg that came with a blouse.)The bird embellishement is Jolies.

BONE-JOUR

Janis at PDE Linky Party is having a Pun Linky Party.  I got my inspiration from  SCRAPPY MOMS "Amusing Animals" I used the say Bone-Jour.  The dies are from MY CREATIVE TIME, "Live,Love,Bark"; "Loyal Friends";"Springtime in Paris"; "Stitched Cartoon Clouds" and "Stitched Grass Die."  The bone paper is DCWV, the white pearlis Paper Source, the green is Colorbok, the rest is scraps.For the sky I used " Build A Sripty & Watercolor background Stamp" i got this idea from Leanne at CREATED BY LEANNE.  I embossed the eiffel tower and Bone Jour with Versamark ink and clear Stamp Affair embossing powder.  The black embossing powder is Stamp-a-teria.  The funny thing is when I embossed the bone, I noticed an outline of the Eiffel Tower on my scrap paper.  I am also linking up to DL. CELEBRATE SIDEWAYS

Biy am I loving these new MCT "Tag Die Layers"  I thought I would make a few Birthday cards.  The main papers are Basic Grey "Shine On" All others are scraps.  The balloons and banner  are allso MCT.   The twine is Martha Stewart.

BUTTERFLY IN A TEAR DROP

I made this card for a sketch challenge at DIE CUTTING DIVAS.  I used papers by Embelish and  scraps from my stash.  The cut is Cricut "Florals Embellished" .  I added a metal butterfly (I think it is Recollections)  The pink flowers are K&Company. The banner and sentiment are MCT Fun Vertical Greetings and Trio Stitched Banner Dies.

ANOTHER DEADLINE MISSED

I made this card on Saturday for a challenge at BBTB2, I forgot to post it.  The dressform cut is from Forever Young.  The base card is David Tutera.  The rest of the papers are from  Echo Park "Head Over Heals"  The black flower Gems are Paper Studio.  The hat and the purse are MY CREATIVE TIME "Classy Girl Accessories"  The sentiment die and stamp are also MCT.
