FINTASTIC

There are lots of July and August birthdays in my family. It is time to stock up on cards.  MY CRAFT SPOT  is having a Birthday Chllenge.  I used one of their stamps from the "Cute Critters" set.  It say "Have a Fintastic Day."  The fish is from Cricut's "Crocs Rule" c art.  All of the papers except the water paper(Paper Studio) are DCWV.The glittery border is K&Company.   I started this card by following a MOJO MONDAY sketch.

PARTY

My trip to Mexico is coming up soon.  I always give my kids a travel card with some spending money in it.  This year my daughters boyfriend is joining us.  I am giving  a card and a coupon for  drink.  For these cards I used the word feature on Life is A Beach.  I made 2 versions.  The first one is more masculine.  The second one is a birthday card.  The card base is DCWV, the 2 base papers are Paper Studio, the shark paper is .  I ran the pineapple thru my Cuttlebug using Swiss Dots.  I added Glossy Accents on the cherry.  I am entering this into a Summer Treat challenge atFCCB

OH HAPPY DAY

A while a go I won some digis from Sweet and Sassy.  When I printed out the design, I didn't realize that the back side was textured.  I dedided to keep coloring, it is kind of like a canvas effect.  My parents will be celebrating their anniversary in September.  DIE CUTTING DIVAS are having a wedding and anniversary  challenge.  For the base card I used Wild Card  I love how the sentiment "Oh Happy Day" curves around the image.  I used Prismacolor pencils, except for the sky, where I used Staedtler watercolor pencils.  The sentiment on the inside is Inkadinkado.  The skittles are by my friend Cari at DOUBLECLICK CONNECTIONS.  I am also linking up to DL.Art Thankful Thursday July Linky Party.

REFURBISHING

I am re doing my daughters room.  She is temporarily living with my other daughter,  She will be getting a studio soon.  I refurbished a few thing, that will stay in her room at home until she finds a place.

All items painted and waxed with Annie Sloan products. 2 coats of paint, distress with sandpaper, wax.  The drawers on the table have Cece caldwell silver wax on them.They were brass before.

BEE-UTIFUL DAY

Hello my friends.  I hope everyone had a bee-utiful July 4th.  we stayed home and smoked a chicken, then watched fireworks.  Today we are heading to Half Moon Bay to meet friends for lunch, one of wo is celebrating their birthday.  I amde this card for her.  The patterned papers are Colorbok.  The little border on the top is Kand Company.  The ribbon is from Target,the button is Heidi Grace.  The dies and stamps are items that I won at MY CREATIVE TIME.  There are 2 die sets:"Stitched bees & Behive" and "Stitched Honeycomb".  The stamp set is called "Bee Happy Stamp Set".  The inside label is from Spellbinders.

HELLO FRIEND

Today the internet and the tv. were out most of the day.  So I decided to clean my closet-What a job.  I finished about 25% of it.  Two big bags of donations.
DIE CUTTING DIVAS are having a sketch challenge.  I used the Artiste cartridge for the ovals.  The rectangle die is Spellbinders  The doggie dies are MCT new release-"Live,Love,Bark" and "Loyal Friends Stamp Set"  The solid blue paper is Core'dinations, the rest is DCWV.

FLIP-IT FLIP-FLOP CARDS

Yesterday was a great day.  I made a few box cards that I sold before I had a chance to photograph.  Between my neighbor and an x co-worker, I sold 6 cards.  Then when I went to the mailbox, my order from MY CREATIVE TIME.  The new release rocks.  I was going to buy the bundle, but guess what?  I won 3 of the sets.  For the base cards I used Core'dinations card stock.  The patterned papers are Paper Studio.  I used 2 of the new MCT sets-"Surf's Up" and "Sit Back and Relax. Both cards have skittles by my friend cari at DOUBLE CLICK CONNECTIONS  I always have a hard time photographing these flip cards.  It didn't help that the wind was blowing.  I am linking up to DL.Art Thankful Thursday July Linky Party.  and to LITTLE SCRAP PIECES Show it off Saturday Linky Party.
