HIP HIP HOORAY

A co-worker asked me to make a card with a hippo on it for her friends birthday.  I used Create A Critter cartridge for the hippo and the inside sentiment.  For the inside I used a patterned paper from DCWV Animal Crackers.  All of the papers are DCWV.  The ribbon is 3 Girl jam.  The brad is K&Company.  I used Martha Stewart twine. FCCB is having a Spring Cleaning Challenge-use a cart or cut you haven't used before.

BUNNY HEADS ON A STRAW

Good afternoon.  I made this card for  a few  challenges DL.Art is having a bunny challenge and DIE CUTTING DIVAS are having a Pastel Color Challenge.  Also 3 Girl Jam is having a "Anything Spring"Challenge. I am also linking up to BBTB2 bunny challenge. I just got DCWV pastel chalkboard paper pad and a pastel glitter pad. The paper on the inside is Echo park. The straws are from Spritz. The twine is KI.  The pink ribbon is 3 Girl Jam. I used Darice Cloudy Sky embossing folder and Cuttlebugs Babys Breath.  The pretty pastel skittles are from Carri at Double Click Connections. I drew on the bunny faces.  The grass die and the bunny on the inside are My Creative Time. I used the cricut cartridge Tags, Bags,Boxes and More2.

ATTIC FINDS

Today I had the day off.  So I rummaged thru my attic for things to paint with chalk paint.  When I received my Scrapbox desk, there was a wooden frame supporting the desktop.  I painted it green with CeCe caldwell Chalk Paint. then I screwed some hooks into the back and attatched wire.  I painted the clothespins, aan old yellow shelf and a gold picture frame with Annie Sloane "Antique White" chalk paint. I went over the embossed parts of the frame with CeCe Caldwell's silver wax.  Now I have so many places to display my cards, that I need to create more paper projects.

CONGRATS JANESSA

My niece, Janessa is having a baby.  I made her this cute card to let her know I am there for her.  My sister (her mom) passed away when she was a teenager.  MY CREATIVE TIME is having a designer challenge where you have to make your own background paper.  I sure had fun doing this. I used MCT Coffee Background stamps with Recollections Chalk ink.The chalkboard cardstock is also Recollections.The white shimmer crdstock is Paper Source.  The gal is from the die set "Classy Girl and Furbaby"  The stroller is "Classy Girl Accessories."  I also used "Fun Stitched edges" to make the border.The twine is Ki.  The sticker is from Doodlebug

This week DIE CUTTING DIVAS are having a sketch challenge.  I knew i wanted to use Little Azaelea Ebellish paper pad.  Also, Diana at DL.Art is having a Bunny Challenge.  The base card and the white pearl paper are from Paper Source.  The pink whitewash is Core'dinations.  All other paper is Embellish.  The bunny is from Clelebrate with a Flourish.  The center dies are Spellbinders.  The sentiment and flower dies are from MCT.  The brads are K&Company

DANCING IN THE RAIN

Don't you love this sentiment "Anyone who says sunshine brings happiness has never danced in the rain"  This sentiment is from MCT "I'm here for you rain or shine"  set.  The apers are from Heidi Grace.  The base card is Recollections glitter pad.  I used Crocs Rule cartridge.  The cloud is from Create a Critter.The raindrops were fro the $1 section at Joannes.  I used a sketch from FCCB 's latest challenge.  Also, BBTB2 is having an April Showers chaallenge.
