COMPOSITION BOOK FOR SON'S 8th GRADE CLASS

My Son had to decorate the front and back of a composition book.  It was a challenge finding papers that were not too girly.  He wouldn't even use a blue foiled paper.  He chose the cuts and glued it on.  This is the back side.  The front side has to do with academics.  Hopefully he gets this started soon since it is due on Friday.

FORMULA
Papers:Soccer Paper and sticker from a kit I got a long time ago; solids-Colorbok
Cricut:Sports Mania  player-4.41". words 1.47"

Birthday Card

Hello todays card uses a phrase as the center cut.  "Never enough cake" from the "Once upon a Princess Cartridge.  I made a center step card.  The directions are from splitcoast stampers http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/resources/tutorials/centerstepcard/
When i photographed the card, I was focusing on close ups of various parts.  Then when I went to do my post , I realized I hadn't shot the whole card.  Hence, the difference in color, the sun had gone down. I really wanted to use the "Scrappy Moms Stamps" that says "Sweet Birthday Wishes"  I inked each part of the stamp separately and punched them out so they would fit on the side.

Hello

Hello,  I have been so tied up dropping kids off at college, that I haven't had much time to craft.  I did manage to get somethings started on my Gypsy while I was in Southern California.  The house is quiet with the two girls away at school.  My son is enjoying all of the attention.  I hope to post some photos and a card tomorrow.

MAG CHALLENGE 40

Hello, It is time for another MAG Challenge By the Page.  I am so excited about this weeks challenge.  Check it out http://magchallengebythepage.blogspot.com/  We can't wait to see your creation.
Please remember, for MAG Challenge you cannot use any other Cricut cartridge or page from another cartridge, only the specified page.  You can use any punches, stamps or other embellishments.  This is a great time to go through your stash and find some forgotten treasures
This weeks challenge is to use the cuts on page 45 of "Storybook" one of my all time favorite cartridges.  Usually I don't start to think about my holiday cards until after Halloween/  When I saw this cut, I saw an opportunity to get a head start.  Unfortunately, my girls left for college before I took a picture of them.  So here is this years card with last years photo.
