YEAH  I won some blog candy from Karen at Little Scrap Pieces.  She has a cool blog, where she creates fun cards using a lot of crinkle ribbon.  And guess what I won?  Lots of crinkle ribbon.  I can;t wait to use it.  She made me a darling little card.
Can you see all of the fun stuff Karen sent me?  To start with a "Party" chipboard album which I am saving for the holidays.  Some fun retro stickers, K&Company stickers that match one of my favorite paper pads.  Also, some fun heart stamps from Studio G, I nedded some of those for an engagement card.  And some Sandy Lion beach themed stickers with a sun stamp from Inkadoo.  Thank you Karen

Fantabulous Cricut is having a "friendship" themed challenge.  This time I started with the sentiment a Stamp that says "Styles come and go, but girlfriends are forever"   I made an easel card to really show off the sentiment.  In the photo the angle looks strange because I tried to get a shot of the sentiment and front portions.  Here is the address for the directions for an easel card.  It is from Splitcoast Stampers http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/resources/tutorials/easelcard/.  They have many great tutorials.

MAG CHALLENGE 38

Hello, It's Friday and that means it is time for another MAG Challenge.  Challenge #38 is to use page 69 of Plantin Schoolbook.  Please remember, for MAG Challenge you cannot use any other Cricut cartridge or page from another cartridge, only the specified page.  However, you are free to use all the embellishments and treasures from your stash!!!
This was a fun image to work with.  I tried some cards but eventually decided on recycling an old pencil container.  When I was sorting through my scraps, I notice the negative image.  For the picture I recycled the canvas from another project and added a new 12X12" page in the middle

Cricut Plantin Schoolbook p.69  4.18"

Halloween Card

CCC-Cricut Cardz Challenge-  is having a challenge for any "holiday" card.  I love to make Halloween cards.  Whenever I buy paper stacks I usually only use the background type papers.  I just got a DCWV Matt Stack called "Ghosts & Goblins Matstack"  I loved the haunted house page, but wanted to add some dimension to it.  I added black glitter tiles to the roof, using Plantain School book grass image.  I used some in copper for the roof trim.  Then I cut the flower image in black glitter and put it between the house and gravestones.  I used some ribbon from Michaels and mounted it on to a 5X7" card made from DCWV brown glitter cardstock.  The ghost sticker is K&Company.  to check out the challenge, here is the link
