Box for small gift or gift card |
matching card |
The contest is based around using a cartridge that you haven't used for 6 months. This was a challenge for me since I don't have many cartridges and most of the ones I do have are less than 6 months old. However, I did find two that I haven't really found the time to play with-"Tie the Knot" and "Sentimentals" However, I decided to go thru paper stacks that I haven't used for a while. I have alot of neglected paper-just keep on buying more and forgetting about what I have. This is a box for a wedding present-(gift Card) with a matching card. I didn't put a sentiment on because I don't exactly know wht I am using them for.I am hoping one of my nephews will get engaged
Materials
K&Company-Amy Butler. K&Company Designer Mat Pad Pastel solid
K&Company gems
Cuttlebug with "Divine Swirls" and "Swiss Dots" embossing folders
Crticut Gypsy, Expression. Cartridges-Tie the Knot, Sentimentals and StoryBook

3M dimensional tape
Directions
1. I cut the envelope of the card using my gypsy so I could see how big of a card I could fit on a 12X12in paper. I cut both the card and envelope at 4.25 (Sentimentals p64)
2.I cut the box at 11in (Tie the Knot pg. 70) I Cut the dove pg.35 at 2in for box and 2.5 for card.
3.Cut the 2 scalloped squares using Storybook pg.47 at 3in and 3.25 in
4. Using the Cuttlebug emboss the smaller square using "Divine Swirls"folder and the top layer of the bird using "Swiss Dots"(I forgot to emboss the bird on the box) Adhere layers. decorate bird with gems.
5.Adhere dove to box. Center squares on top of each other-adhere. Using dimensional tape adhere dove to center of squares. attatch to card front/
