DL.ART THANKFUL THURSDAY CHALLENGE#229-GRADUATION

My friend's daughter is graduating next week.  I made a champagne glass money holder-Cricut Access and a box card using the Anna Griffin Window box card and a graduation image that I flattened and print and cut.  I used Black and White Basic Twine on the cap.  I tied a bow around the glass an added a bow to the card using Black Crinkle Ribbon from Build Your Own Bundle and Pure Love Crinkle Ribbon from the Valentine Bundle.

ANIMALS IN GRAD CAPS

I made these decorations for my friend whose sons were promoted from elementary and middle school.  I use Scotch temporary mounting squares for the animals.  The cute graduation animals are cricut Create a Critter 2  and Teddy Bear Parade..  The Minion is a circle that I cut the sides off and a crescent shape for the mouth.  I am entering these into the following challenges.

GRADUATION TRIO

Here is another box card I made for a graduation.  I packaged the monetary gift in a light bulb jar.  Then I added some paper and lettering to a kraft gift bag.  All of the cuts were done on Cricut Explore using design space.

WISE OWL GRADUATION

I love all of the blank space- a great way to use designer paper.  For this graduation card I used Echo Park designer paper.  The card paper is Carta Bella.  I cut the owl with Cricut Create a Critter2.The fun diploma and hat are Paper Studio.  The sentiment is from My Creative Time.  Inside I used a Doodlebug Dollie and created a holder for a check with My Creative Time gift Card Holder .  I am entering this into  DL Art Thankful Thursday June Linky

GYMNAST GRADUATION

Our friends daughter earned a gymnastics's scholarships to Florida.  My husband is a physical therapist who has helped Lacy through the years.  I made this card for her, using  the current Mojo Monday Sketch

COFFEE FOR THE GRADUATE

I made this gift card holder for my friends niece.  The striped paper was in my recycle box.  The coffede paper is DCWV-Snack Pack.  I bought the Foothill High stickers at my sons school.  The congratulations is from Beyond Birthdays.  I used MCT die for the giftcard holder and the inside sentiment.  The inside labels are spellbinder dies, the sentiment is MCT.

WISE OLD OWL

Hello, I made a few graduation cards for a friend whose daughter is graduating rom University of Arizona.  The colors are red, white and blue.  I made three diferent ones for her to choose from.  This is not the one she chose, I will post that one soon.
I made and easel card using Core'dinations cardstock.  The red and white chevron paper is Recollections.  The owl is from Create -A-Critter 2.  The stars are from My Creative Time. The stickers are Jolees.  I ran the owl through my Cuttlebug using the Swiss Dots folder.  I am linking up to LITTLE SCRAP PIECES Show it Off Saturday Linky Party.

ZOMBIE GRADUATION

Hello, it has been a while since I posted.  Work has been crazy.  I worked from 7:30 thanksgiving until 530 am Black Friday.  Then its 5 a most days.  A co-worker asked me to make a graduation card for her daughter with a zombie on it.  I had a hard time finding a zombie girl.  I gave up with a cricut cut and found this cute digital SPESCH STAMPS.  I used Prisma color pencils.  The die and sentiment are from My Creative Time. The inside sentiment is from Beyond Birthdays.  The solid papers are Core'dinations, the rest is DCWV.  The brad is K&Company.

CONGRATULATIONS AUDREY

My older niece and I are hosting a graduation party for my niece Audrey who is graduating from High School.  Her mom, my sister Sara, passed away 11 years ago.  I am so proud of Audrey for being a great student, athlete and nice person.  I made a quick banner with a banner pad from Heidi Grace.  I used Plantin Schoolbook for the letters and a Spellbinder die for the labels.   The other papers are from K&Company.  The ribbon is from Walmart.

8th Grade Promotion Card

I can't believe my youngest is graduating from PMS middle school and going to high school next year.
Te PMS panthers colors are red, black and white.  I used alot of white on this card so the sentiment would stand out.  The card base is bade from Nestabilities.  I actually used 3 sets on this project

YOU DID IT

I made this card for my friends son who is graduating high school.  I used Wild Card for the card base and the sentiments "You Did It" and Congrats" are from Beyond Birthdays. CONGRATULATIONS IS A LONG WORD

Here is the banner I made for my daughter's graduation from Arizona State. It turned out to be over 7' long.  I hope the hotel room has a wall that long  I couldn't get a shot of the whole thing so here it is in sections





She wants her windows tinted for a graduation present,  I got some glare on this shot maybe my camera needs to be tinted.  The actual pennants are from a banner pack by Me and My Big Ideas "Mambi Sheets"There are 12 different pennant shaped papers in the pad.

EMILY IS GRADUATING

I have been so busy making decorations for an 8th grade dance, that I haven't been making anything else. Create a Critter-Grad and birthday cards

When I was cleaning my craft room I found lots of Cricut cuts.  I was making a graduation card with a left over chick from Easter.  I decided to make a birthday card as well. Less to clean up.

QUICK GRADUATION CARD

My favorite cartridge for quick cards is "Wild Card"  I needed to get started on Graduation cards and I know that last week and this week were going to be busy with trips to pick up college kids.  I survived the drive from Phoenix to the Bay Area.  Now I go back to Los Angeles area to pick up the other one.  The day I come back I have a graduation party to go to for my friend's son who is graduating from Santa Clara's Law School.  It is a shaped card .(The black is not part of the card)Should of photographed it different.

FORMULA
Cricut Cartridge "Wild Card" card cut at 7.5"
Embellishment "Storybook"  white circle 1.75", black circle 1.5", letters 1"
Star Brad(from stash) with tassle made from Kreinik embroidery filament
Papers-black and white(Colorbok pearlescent) base card (Reminisce)
Adhesives-ATG and 3M Dimensional

GRADUATION MONEY SLIDE CARD

Here is another money slider card.  I made lots of these and will be making a bunch more.  The patterns very according to school and whether it is for a girls or boy.  For girls IU use fancy booby pins that I find on clearance all over the place. For boys I use metallic paper clips. I make the envelopes by scoring a 8.5X11 piece of paper at 4 & 8".  Then tape up the sides using my ATG tape gun and round the corners with a Creative Memories punch
   
FORMULA
7"X7.25"plain cardstock-Recollections scored at 2" and 5.25"(longer side on top) Adhere bottom and back seam
3.25"X4" Piece of graduation or school colors paper-Adhere to center front
Ribbon-Walmart Adhere above decorative paper
Punch niche in center front of card-Used 1"  Punch Bunch (Just punch half a circle)
Insert piece-(yellow)3"X6.75"
Jeweled Hairpin-Clearance at H&M
Cut "You Did It" at 1.5" from Beyond Birthdays, 
Cut Cap at 2"(its actually the card I cut it in half and use both sides)Wild Card
Wrap two colors of floss around two of your fingers cut, knot in center. Add to cap
Add Cut pieces to card as shown
Adhesives-ATG and 3m Dimensional tape
Cricut Expression with Wildcard and Beyond Birthdays cartridges
DMC embroidery floss
another version using "Storybook" cartridge and a paperclip from Office Max
