EMILY IS GRADUATING

I have been so busy making decorations for an 8th grade dance, that I haven't been making anything else. I WON ANOTHER CHALLENGE

8th Grade Promotion

I amy not be posting too much for the next few weeks.  I making the decorations for the lobby of my son's school's MP room.  The theme of the Promotion Dance is After Party Rock style.  I am starting with this image, making 50 of them.  Then I am using the scraps for other cuts to be posted later.

M'EIGHTH

FLYING POODLE

I made this card for  a few challenges BBTB2 is having a balloon challenge CLICK HERE to see the DTs projects and for more info.  Also Mary at Cardz TV is having a Color the Rainbow challenge, use pink, green blue and yellow.  With minimal black and white.  CLICK HERE for details.  I chose not to use any black or white.  The clouds are light blue glitter.  It was quite a challenge for me I really wanted a black nose on the poodle.  But if poodles can fly, then they can have magenta noses.

TALL UMBRELLA CARD

I made this tall card for a friend who just had her gall bladder out.  I had to cut the boot large in order to fit the puppy in.  So I made a 4"X8.5" card.

PAPER PIECING

I have been having fun paper-piecing.  I made this card using a Heidi Grace Stamp.  I stamped portions of the stamp on different papers, cut them out then embellished them and pieced them on top of the original stamp.  The base card is a 5.5" square made from Doodlebug Designs double sided paper flowers/pink polka dots

Konichiwa-"hello"


A while ago I purchased Basic Grey's "Konichiwa" paper pad.  This weekend while visiting family in San Jose, I was able to stop by a great store called "Scrapbook Island"  I purchased 2 co-ordinating stamp sets and some stickers.  I made this a 3" X 3" card to enter a "Thankful Thursday" challenge at DL Art.  Check it out CLICK HERE.  I paper pieced the stamp of the girl.

NON CALORIC EASTER GIFT
