HEDGEHOG HUGS

I am in the process of making thank you cards for all of the wonderful birthday gifts that I received.  My friend Melody gave be a beautiful set of hedgehogs.  The stamp set I used is by the Stamps of Life.  The ssun sticker and papers are by Echo Park.

WELCOME LITTLE ONE

It seems like there are a lot of baby boys being born.  I have orders for three cards.  When I saw the sketch challenge at FCCB, i knew exactly what to make.  I just got Baby Steps for 19.99 at Joannes.The papers are all DCWV.  I got the brads at Scrapbook Expo a few years ago.  I can't remember the brand name.  I love how the had 3 sizes.  The inside and outside sentiments are from Stamps of Life.  I used PKS for the face.  The bubbles were run thru my Cuttlebug, using the Tiny Bubbles folder.  I am also entering a masculine challenge at DL.Art.

SOARING HEART FOR DAD

Here is a card I made for my husband.  This one doesn't fit any of the challenges out there, because i didnt use a die cut.  I used the new Stamp of the Month set from Stamps of Life-Hot4balloons.  The patterned papers are My Minds Eye-Hootenanny and My Girl.I used Stayzon black ink and Versa Magic Chalk Ink.
The inside sentiment plaque is Recollections the sentiment is My Creative Time-You're My Best Buddy.

SPRINKLES FOR YOU

I got some awesome DCWV paper pads at JoAnn's for $6.  One is called the "Snack Stack".  MY CRAFT SPOT is having a "Shake it On" challenge. I am also linking up to DL.Art-Thankful Thursday April linky Party.  The beads are so old the sticker on the bottom say  $.75.  There is no label.  The ribbon is 3 girl jam.  The die cuts are Spellbinders, the cup cake is Stamps of Life. The sentiment is Scrappy Moms.

SPIN TO EAT CAKE

I made this spinner card using stamps and dies from Stamps of life.  All of the papers are from DCWV.

I used Stayz On ink.  The ribbon is from 3 Girl jam, the brads are from my stash.

POPPIN' COOL MONEY HOLDER

I made this money holder for my niece's birthday.  I will put money and some movie tickets inside.  The stamps are all from "stamps of Life"  The ticket die is from My Creative time.  the polka dot and striped papers are Echo Park, the pop corn paper is Core'dinations whitewash.  The rest is DCWV.  I used 3 Girl jam ribbon attached to a paperclip to hold the money.  I was considering ironing the ribbon, but thought against it

FLIPPING FOR CANDY

I love the sentiment on this card, it is from The Stamps Of Life.  it says "Lemonade, crunchy ice, time with you is always nice"  The set has many cute stamps.  I just used the sentiment and the ice cubes.  For the glass of lemonade I used Just Because Cards.  I am entering it into a DIE CUTTING DIVAS Summer Refreshment challenge.  BBTB2 is having a "Come and Get it Summer Food Challenge".  I am also linking up to DL. Hello.  My friend   Carri asked me to be a guest designer on her blog.  I am featuring her handmade Skittles.  They add beautiful dimension and color to your projects.  I used Cranberry, Watermelon and Lettuce on my project.  Followers who comment on Carri's Guest design Post and My Guest Design post will be entered to win some fun skittles.

I used a Cathy Davis paper pad called "Ambrosia"  The telephone stamp and sentiment are from Stamps of Life, "Phone 4 You" set. I inked around the edges with Tim Holtz Distressed Ink in "Victorian Velvet"   .The top die cuts are Spellbinders "Labels Eight".  The bottom die is My Creative Times "Curly Label Die".  I used Martha Stewart Pearl Glass paint on the phone dial.

HEY CHICKADEE

Yesterday was such a fun and creative day. I worked from 630-10:30 am.  Then I went to The Scrapbook Expo in Pleasanton.  I met up with a few of my bloggy friends. one, I recognized from her blog picture.  Although I didn't take any classes, I learned alot by watching demos.  My first project here is with a stamp and die kit from STAMPS OF LIFE I used Framelits Dies with Stamps- Easter and Pinwheels 2 Stamp.  I am entering this into DL ARTl Thankful Thursday Easter Challenge.

I made the base of the card using the egg die. I then cut the egg again using cloud paper. To make the card stand up I glued the grass to the bottom. of the card.

TALL UMBRELLA CARD

I made this tall card for a friend who just had her gall bladder out.  I had to cut the boot large in order to fit the puppy in.  So I made a 4"X8.5" card.
