I'M THERE FOR YOU

My sister in law broke her ankle last week and had to have surgery on it.  So I made her this card using Dr. Check-up cartridge.  The patterned papers are "Go Girl" by MME.  The solids are Paper Studio Adhesive.  The sentiment is from My Creative Time.  I used Memento ink. The mattress is embossed with Swiss Dots, the tile floor is made with Honeycomb embossing folder by Cuttlebug

UNDER THE WEATHER

BBTB2 is having a Get Well Challenge.  Ironic, since I have been in bed for two days with the flu.  Also DIE CUTTING DIVASare having a Penguin Awareness Challenge.  What a great combo.  The penguin is from Jolly Holidays, the sick girl is from Dr. Checkup. The base card is Sizzix "Album Accordion" The labels are also Sizzix. It took me a while to figure this one out. The polka dot and stripe papers are Basic Grey.  All others are scraps.  The face is Peachy Keen.  The sentiments are from My Creative Time-"I'm Here for you Rain or Shine". Has anyone got any tips for stamping on cork?

HOPE YOU ARE BACK IN HEELS SOON

My daughter had bunion surgery today.  She is only 21 and has terrible problems with her feet.  She lives in Southern Claif we are in Northern.  I sent her a big care package along with this card.  I am linking up to LITTLE SCRAP PIECES  Anything Goes Fun Friday Linky Party and to DL.
