LAYERS OF ROSES

Hello. On Monday I got in a minor car accident.  As a result I have a sore neck and headache.  On the positive side I have been spending a lot of time in my craftroom.  Anna Griffins Treasury binder.  I stamped a lot of roses, then made a matching background.  It still looked a little plain so I added a gold border and a sentiment from another AG set.

DL.ART THANKFUL THURSDAY CHALLENGE #121-LOVE

Hello.  Have you been busy making Valentine Projects?  If you have this is the perfect challenge for you. Diana over at  DL.ART is having a Thankful Thursday Love Challenge.  As always you can substitute a Thank You card.  There are some gorgeous pink and red crinkle ribbon bundles in the DL.ART Store.  For this challenge I used Sweet Love from the Valentine bundle.  There are some new Valentine buttons too.  I am using the pink floral button from the Love Buttons-Set 2.  These buttons are so pretty and vintage
I started my card with background paper by Paper Studio.  The rest of the papers and tag are Graphic 45.  The bow was made with Sweet Love crinkle ribbon and Basic Twine.  The tag is anchored with a romantic button from Love Buttons Set 2.

SCOTTIE DOG POP UP CARD

My friend Alda has two  beautiful scottie dogs.  She collects Scottie decorations too.  Every year I make her a doggie card.  Lately I have been playing around with Cricut's Anna Griffin Pop up cards.  I switched the collie dog for a scottie.  Then I customized the front with some cuts fro the Just Because cartridge.  The Red Hot crinkle ribbon is from the Valentine Bundle available at the DL.ART store.

DOGGIE IN THE WINDOW

How many doggies do you see on this card?  If you see 5 you are correct.  A while back I bought Art Impressions Holiday Mansion Set and the Water Color Dogs Set.  I thought together they would make the perfect Valentine card for my son.  We have 3 dogs whom he misses so much when he is away at school.  After I made this card AI came out with  Haunted Mansion Valentines set an a cute Easter Set  It is on my wish list.  The papers are MME "Cupids Arrow"

ANNA GRIFFIN POP UP KITTY CARD

Hello. I am taking a break from spring cleaning to craft and blog.  I purchased the Anna Griffin Pop-Up card cartridge a few months ago.  The cards looked too complicated and had a lot of cuts.  But I decided to try one-they are pretty easy and it was fun to play around with the colors.  The downloaded version includes print and cut images for the front of the cards.  However, I chose to use an image from Chore Chart. I used DCWV Bright & Pastel foil papers and Paper Studio Adhesive Cardstock.

DL.ART THANKFUL THURSDAY CHALLENGE 220-WINTER

For my winter card I used a premade  mountain scene card from Cricut access.  Then I added a snowboarder from Hey Dude.  I found this great masculine button in the Vintage Button Collection.  I anchored the button with Pure Love from the Valentine Bundle and black from the BYOB Bundle.  My nephews Birthday is upcoming and he loves snowboarding.

PUPPY LOVE

It has been a while since I have made a watercolor card.  I love the videos by Bonnie Krebs at Art Impressions  Recently I purchased the water color dogs.  I used this Watercolor Wednesday You Tube video for inspiration CLICK HERE.  I used the following sets, WC Dogs set, WC Branches, foilage set, Flower Set 2 and Series 7 set 2.  I stamped the images by inking up my stamps with Marvy markers.

HAPPY NEW YEAR.   Welcome 2018.  I am looking forward to  a year of health and happiness. How about you  Today is the start of the first 2018 DL.ART LINKY CHALLENGE.
