Nature Calls

I made this card for my sons birthday,  He doesn't like porta potties.  It seems like they are at all of the sporting events.  He calls them "Stinky Toilets"  I think he will get a kick out of this.  I am linking this up to DL Arts 1,000 Post Linky Party CHECK IT OUT HERE  There are so many cool submissions.

Lit Up Cake

When I was looking through my stash of cards I realized that I didn't have many Birthday cards that could be for a gal or guy.  Most of them had bling on or were too elaborate.  So when I saw that the challenge at FCCB is to use a candle.  For more information CLICK HERE. I looked thru my booklets for a shaped card.  There were a few good ones in Something to Celebrate.  I think I will make a few more.  When I use the card feature on this cartridge I play around with the sizes.  I cut the card at 4.53"; the base at 4.18" and the cake at 4.06".  The ribbon was originally red and white.  I inked it up with Tim Holz Distress ink. My friend, Diana is having a 1,000 Post Linky Party CLICK HERE to join in the fun. There are a few more days left to submit your project.

BALCK & GREEN FOR HALLOWEEN

Here is a card I have had in my brain for a long time.  I wanted a certain color of green glitter paper for it.  DCWV has this great soft glitter paper.  I used "The Glitzy Glitter Stack" for the greens and Dazzle for the silver.  I always have a hard time photographing sparkly and foil papers.  Karen at Little Scrap Pieces is having a "Black and Green Challenge"  CLICK HERE to find out more information.  Diana at DL Art is having a Halloween/fall Colors/ Owl Challenge. CLICK HERE to join in the fun

You're a Good Noodle

I made this card for a friend at work.  The sentiment says "You're a Good Noodle"  It is by scrappy moms.  I wrapped Sew Easy thread around the top of the Chopsticks. (from a fast food place, cut to fit card)  The bowl is cut from Create A Critter.   I put a lot of 3M dimensional tape on the bag of the bowl, then I swirled twine around the chopstick and the top of the bowl.  The twine is from Liz's Paper  Loft.  The papers are "Konnichiwa" by Basic Grey
I am entering this card into Dianas 1,000 post linky party.  There are so many fun projects submitted so far CLICK HERE for information and inspiration
