DL.ART THANKFUL THURSDAY CHALLENGE- TAG

It is time for another Thankful Thursday Challenge over at DL.ART.  This time it is a Tag challenge-you can always substitute a Thank You card.  I decided to try the print and cut feature on my Cricut Explore.  I made a "College Survival Kit" which is a Cricut Design.  I love how it turned out.  I used Basic Twine, Steel Blue and Royal Blue from the Blues Bundle and Whipped Cream from the Creamy Dreamy bundle.  I also used a star button from the Vintage Button Collection.  Diana gives my readers a 10% discount use the code K34510 at check out.

BIRTHDAY GIFT BAG

I needed a quick birthday bag for a gift.  I found a plain black bag.  Then I found this cute image on Cricut Access. It is actually from the Everyday Card Cartridge.  I cut it at 6.85 inches wide.  The glittery papers are DCWV.  This was a quick 5 minute project.  I am entering this into the Die Cutting Divas Birthday Challenge

CONGRATS ON YOUR NEW HOME

My friend just moved into a new house.  I made this card for her using Art Impressions Watercolor Series 8 set 2.  I stamped the image using a Marvy Sepia Marker.  Then I softened the lines with a wet brush.  I added flowers and lots of foilage.  The papers are Hobby Lobby.  I used my explore to write the sentiment.  The two thicknesses of twine are from DL.ART.  I am entering this into the Show it off Saturday at LITTLE SCRAP PIECES

WATER CAN THANK YOU

At the Scrapbook Expo I purchased a lot of  Art Impressions stamps.  I used thisWatering Canbecause it fit into the current Mojo Monday sketch.  I began by stamping the image with Wilted Violet.  Then I drew out the color with a wet brush.  I stamped the grass using  the Foilage Set .The scalloped circle and inner circle are Spellbinders.  The sentiment die is from My Creative Time.  The papers are Paper Studio.  I am also entering this card into a "Thank You" Challenge at Die Cutting Divas

DL.ART THANKFUL THURSDAY CHALLENGE - VACATION

Hello.  Oh boy did this summer go by fast.  We didn't go on a big vacation this year.  We went on a lot of weekend trips to visit colleges.  Next year we are off to Cancun. This Thankful Thursday Challenge over at DL.ART is "vacation" or a thank you card.  DL.ART has beautiful summer ribbons.  For this card I used Aruba Blue from the Tropical Summer Bundle to make a frill at the bottom of the card.  I attached a Vintage Button with some Basic Twine.  Diana gives my readers a 10% discount if you use the code K34510 at check out.

The inspiration for this card  from Kerry at Art Impressions.  I used the Art impressions "Beach Tri-Fold" stamp set.  I masked the cottage so I could fit all three stamps on one layer.  I colored the image using Marvy Markers.

CELEBRATE 1

My friend's grandaughter, Coral ,is turning one.  I made this coral colored card for her following a Die Cutting Diva's Sketch.  The baby stamp and baby dress are by Prima.  All of the papers are from a Prima-Julie Nutting "blush" pad.  The sentiment  and circle dies are My Creative Time . SPARKLING GIRLFRIENDS

I had an amazing day at the Scrapbook Expo on Friday.  I met up with my dear friend Diana from DL.ART.  We had so much fun shopping and chatting.  I was kind of on a budget this year, so I wrote out a list of "must haves".  It included a long list of  Art Impressions stamps. Kendra was at the booth.  She gave me a lot of great tips.  This weeks Art Impressions challenge is Glitter and Shimmer. CLICK HERE for information and inspiration. used the Hot Java  Mamas set.  I  water colored colored the ladies with Marvy Markers.Then I added so fashionable jewelry from Prima.  The earrings are blinged out with Stickles.  The teal and pink glitter papers are DCWV.  The patterned paper is Paper Studio. The beautiful ribbon is Blue Hue Tale-Mermaids Tale 2nd Edition

COFFEE CARD

Yesterday I went to my friend Helen's 70th birthday luncheon.  I gave her a wooden box filled with cards.  She particularly likes coffee cards.  So here is coffee card #2.  I began by stamping Some doughnuts onto craft paper by DCWV.  The coffee cup, sentiment and doughnut are all from My Creative Time's "We're Better Together"  I got my inspiration from MCT designer Nikki check out her post Here.  I used three rows of thin washi tape by Paper Studio at the bottom.

YOUR KINDNESS WARMS MY HEART

I am obsessed with the Suburbia cartridge.  I love the retro silhouettes. I love this image of a coffee drinking mysterious lady in hat.  I got my inspiration from the current Mojo Monday challenge and a new paper pad at Hobby Lobby.

I hand cut the tag, then a Hobby Lobby Tassel Charm around it with Basic Twine By DL.ART.
