CONCERTINA B-DAY CARD

I haven't posted for a while.  We had to go to Southern California to a funeral.  Then we visited my oldest daughter for a few days.  I have decided to stop working for a while.  You will see alot more posts from me.
I was browsing through the Splitcoast Stampers site and found this interesting CONCERTINA FOLD card.  It was a little tricky.  CRAFTIN DESERT DIVAS are having a "Fun Folds" challenge.  I used DCWV patterned papers and the card base is Paper Studio bt Hobby Lobby.  I used "Sweet Treats" to cut out the blower, hats and balloons.  If you want to challenge yourself to try something new, try this fold.

BIRTHDAY BOX FOR EMILY

When I bought the Artiste cartridge, I was excited to make some of the 3D items.  I made a box to put a variety of gift cards in for my daughter, Emily.  Her birthday is in July.  The patterned paper is Embellish, the rest is scraps.  The flowers are Flower Shoppe, the birds on a banner are from Birthday Bash.  The Happy Birthday sentiment is Sizzix.  The letters are from My Creative Time.

POPIN UP BUTTERFLIES

I got the tutorial for the this "Standing Shapes Card" from SPLITCOAST STAMPERS.  For the acetate pieces, I used packaging from an embossing folder.  The butterflies are from Spellbinders.  All patterned papers and the borders are from K&Company.  I put the front butterfly on an Action Wobble.

FEMININE CARD

My friend Diana from DL. Art is having a Thankful Thursday Anything Feminine Challenge.  A while ago I bought a Spellbinders set called "Gold Majesty Circles"  It was on sale for $10.00.  I knew this would make a perfect girlie card.  The flower in the center is My Creative Time.  The pearl papers are Colorbok.  The whit damask is from Paper Studio and the pink floral is Recollections. The purple pearls are Creative Imaginations.

CONGRATS GRAD

I can't believe that it has been 10 days since I posted.  I had a big dinner here for mothers day.  Then on Wed I had 8 ladies over for our book club dinner.  The good news is, I have a clean house.  Now I can craft again.  Also  we have had a lot of problems with our internet.
My friend's daughter is graduating from Lewis and Clark.  The school colors are Orange and black.  I used a sketch from MOJO MONDAY.  I am also entering a school challenge at BBTB2.
I used Create a Critter 2 for the Dog, and Artiste for the star and sentiment.  I got the bling stickers at Hobby Lobby(not sure what brand they are).  The ribbons are scraps and the orange border is K&Company.  All papers are DCWV.

BEFORE AND AFTER-MOTHERS DAY CANDLE

My sister-in-laws and I always exchange a little something at our Mothers Day Brunch.  I bought a few candles from Home Goods. They came with a plain band, which I used as a template.  The longest paper I had was 12".  So I cut a circle from Plantin Schoolbook then added strips to each side.  Then I folded the sides to fit around the candle. I decorated the top with flowers from Flower Shoppe and Artiste . I ran the circle through my Cuttlebug using Textile folder. The sunburst and sentiment on the front side is also Artiste.The sentiment on the back side is My Creative Time on a Spellbinders die. The papers are My Paper Studio. I used Memento and Colorbox inks.

OOPS I FORGOT TO POST IT

I made this birthday card for a cake challenge.  I can't believe I forgot to post it. Last week a Hobby Lobby opened near me.  All of the patterned papers are their own brand, Paper Studio-Birthday Extravaganza.The solid paper is Core'dinations.  I used Cricut Artiste cartridge and stamps.  When I attatched a real wax candle, it cracked.  So I added some SKITTLES to hide the mistake. The burlap is from Liz's Paper Loft.

FCCB GUEST DESIGNER-PAPER FUN

WOW- was I thrilled when Heather from FCCB asked me to be a guest designer.  I look forward to seeing what the new challenges are each week.  This weeks challenge is "Paper Fun".  For this challenge you need to use at least one patterned paper and one Cricut cut.
Recently I purchased a few Embellish paper pads at Jo-Ann's.  I used Plantin Schoolbook for the circle and square.  The tea cup is from Love You A Latte.  I cut the flowers in various sizes from Flower Shoppe.  I inked them with Colorbox Chalk ink, then turned them over, sprayed them with water and shaped them with a stylis.  The yellow seeds in the middle are fro Heartfelt Creations.  The MOM is from Florals Embellished.  The inside label is Spellbinders and the sentiment is from My creative Time.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY WITH STYLE

I made this card for my friend Debra's birthday, She is always so stylish.  I used Artiste for the dress form and dress.  I used cork and corrugated papers for texture, both by DCWV.  The cork went through my sizzix without any problems.  I couldn't figure out the settings for my cricut.  I used Cranberry Skittles by Carri at Double Click Connections. "Make it Girly" challenge at DIE CUTTING DIVAS

The floral stickers are from K&Company.

BEAUTIFUL RIDE

My Creative Times new release has the coolest bike die.  I cut the bike in black and again in silver tand pieced the together.  All of the stamps and dies are from My Creative Time.  The patterned papers are My Minds Eye "My Girl".  The sollid papers are DCWV.  The ribbon is Target.  I am entering this card into a "Mothers Day Challenge" at MCT there has to be a MCT flower on it. I am also entering the  May Linky Party at DL.Art.

WISE OLD OWL

Hello, I made a few graduation cards for a friend whose daughter is graduating rom University of Arizona.  The colors are red, white and blue.  I made three diferent ones for her to choose from.  This is not the one she chose, I will post that one soon.
I made and easel card using Core'dinations cardstock.  The red and white chevron paper is Recollections.  The owl is from Create -A-Critter 2.  The stars are from My Creative Time. The stickers are Jolees.  I ran the owl through my Cuttlebug using the Swiss Dots folder.  I am linking up to LITTLE SCRAP PIECES Show it Off Saturday Linky Party.
