CRAZY WEEK

I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas.  Th week before was very eventful for me.  I fell off a ladder and sprained my ankle.  Still went to work, but spent rest of day icing and elevating.  My daughter came up on Thursday, she brought her boyfriends 4 pound Chihuahua.  On Friday night he escaped, ran out of our neighborhood, across a bridge and into a field.  The field had barns, old cars, and a huge tarp covered wood pile.  He escaped at 8pm, I had to work at midnight.  When I got home at 8am my daughter was still outside, in the pouring rain searching for the dog.At 4 am she had spotted him, but couldn't get to him  I joined her.  At one point she almost fell into the rushing creek.  My husband made posters and hung them up.  Animal control was helping.  At 11 am I went home to take a nap, the door bell rang and the gardener had found the dog.  Boy were we releived.  I can't believe he crossed the street again and was three houses away.  I had to work another graveyard that night.  come Christmas Eve I still had shopping to do and 35 people were coming to dinner.  Everyone helped out and the rest of the holiday was wonderful.  The only down side is that I have poison oak on my feet.  Hopefully things will calm down this week and I can get in my craft room

HOLIDAY CARD

Hello  Finally I am having a productive day.  Got most of my holiday cards finishe.  Decorated a few rooms and even did some shopping.  Now I have time to play.  I amde this Hanukkah card for my daughters boyfriend.  I am entering it into a challenge at CCR.  The challenge is "Christmas Card With a Twist No Red or Green". CLCIK HERE for more information.  I am also submitting it to DL Art Thankful Thursday Linky Party.CLCIK HERE  I used Create a Critter 2 for the owl  The papers are DCWV.  The gems are from my stash.  The ribbon is from a dollar bin.  The stars were loose in my Christmas Bin.

First Post On New Computer

FRUSTRATED

I had made some really cute tags.  I took pics of them.  Then put them on packages for a party I went to.  I just downloaded the pictures they are so blurry.  Oh well.  I hope to get some crafting done this week.  I am really busy at work, as well as organizing a coat drive and getting my cards made.  Sorry if I haven;t stopped by in a while.  Have a great day.
