For the last few months I have been playing around with colored pencils. I purchased a few digi-stamps. Then I went through a collection of stamps that I haven't used for years. My coloring was ok, but kind of streaky. The Lucianna at http://dilsaverdesigns.blogspot.com/ did a fabulously detailed and informative set of 4 video tutorials on color pencils. She also provided a sketch, called "Sara" My sister, who passed away 8 years ago from the flesh-eating bacteria, was called Sara. So this was extra special for me. The technique that Lucianna explains, uses baby oil or another kind of artists oil. When I had finished coloring the image, I decided to color the sentiment. It looked uneven. My daughter had taken my baby oil to the pool.(I know that is a terrible way to tan, I have lectured her many times) So impatient me thought "Oh well its only a little area I'll try Olive Oil) It worked fine but my card smelled. Then I realized I use Garlic Olive Oil. Any way I hope you enjoy the card.
