DL.ART THANKFUL THURSDAY CHALLENGE #218-CHRISTMAS

GOOD MORNING.  We are having beautiful weather here in Northern California.  Crisp and sunny.  Have you checked out the new DL.ART store.  There are some amazing new buttons and lots of fun ribbon bundles.  The new challenge is "Christmas" - you can always substitute Thank you card.  Diana offers my readers a 10% discount just use the code KA345 at checkout.  I used the Creamy Dreamy Bundle and the Baby Bundle
This year I made a pocket card for my Holiday cards.  There is a family photo on the backside of the insert.  I began with a pre-made pearly white card base by Co'rdinations.  Then I added a mat of  Paper Source metallic card stock.  I embossed the white layer with a Cuttlebug folder.  Then I cut the pocket using an Anna Griffin Pocket die.  The embellishments on the gold card are Anna Griffin.  The rich golden bow is the yummy Creme Brulee ribbon from the Creamy Dreamy Bundle.  The silver and blue card has a Stampin' Up sentiment and beautiful blue and white ribbons from the Baby Bundle

MCIKEY WINTER SCENE

Hello.  I have not been blogging much lately due to a bad back.  I am having trouble sitting and sleeping. I wanted to make a quick card for my grand nephew.  They are going to Disneyland soon. So I bought the Cricut Mickey and Friends Cozy Christmas.  There are so many pieces to the cuts.  I decided to flatten the images and print and cut.  It was so easy and much less time sitting at my craft table.  First I cut some white glitter Core'dinations card stock for snow, then I added some snow flake paper for the sky.  I print and cut the house and car  from the  original Mickey and Friends cartridge.
I adhered the house to the snow scene then I added some rhinestones, trees and a wooden snowflake.
Next I cut a slit in the car and tucked the holiday clad Mickey and Minnie in the drivers seat.

YAPPY HOWLIDAYS

My husband decorates the  out side of our house.  I do the inside.  However, this year I decided to take over the porch.  I chose a dog theme.  I made the a banner that says "Yappy Howlidays"  I used Echo Park paw paper and DCWV glitter cardstock.  I cut the letters and the banner with my Cricut.  I tied it all together with Red Hot Love Crinkle Ribbon by DL.ART

RETIREMENT CARD FOR LIBRARIAN

My friend requested a retirement card for a librarian.  She sent me a list of her co-workers hobbies.  They work at a junior college whose school colors are green and gold.  The book shaped card is Cricut's "Wrap it Up." Then I printed some titles on different colored papers and inserted them into the gold outline.  This was a bit tricky and it didn't come out as clean as I would of liked.

DL.ART DECEMBER LINKY CHALLENGE

WOW Where did the year go?  It is the last DL.ART  Linky Challenge of 2017.  For this challenge I made a Pokemon Birthday card.  The button and the ribbons are from the New DL.ART Store I used the red and yellow from the Rainbow Bundle.  Diana gives my readers a 10% Discount just use the code k34510 at checkout.
I began by printing out a Pokemon coloring page on yellow paper.  Then I fussy cut the image.  I hand cut the lightning bolts and covered them in Sprinkle and Sparkle glitter.  The frame dies are My Creative Time.  The papers are DCWV.  I pinned the button to the ribbon and attached it to the card.
I know December is a busy month-I hope you have time to create.  I can't wait to see your new projects.  Check out what DIANA and the other designers have made.  If you haven't checked out the new store - you can check it out HERE.  There are so many fun ribbons and buttons.
