SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS

I made this card for a challenge at BBTB2 is having a "Sympathy Card Challenge"  I used Close to my Heart "Artbookin"page 81 cut at 3" gtwice.  I cut 2 more  each an 1/8 of inch more. I stamped the 2 three inch medallians with the "Sweet & Lovely " coordinating stamp.  I then cut the center motif out of one of the images and popped it up on the larger one.  For the background I inked up a piece of white card stock with Stampabilities "Bright Pink" and "Light Pink"  Then I stamped a background with MCT "Build A Scripty Watercolor" background stamp.  I embossed it using Versamark and clear embossing powder.  For the sentiment I cut a label using MCT "Curly Label"die and the sentiment is from Floral Sentiments  I then tied a bow using ribbon from Elegant Bits.  I am also linking up to DL.Art January Linky Party

TIE DYED LOVE

For this card I used MCT LOVE COLLAGE BACKGROUND , HEART 2 HEART LOVE FRAME and STITCHED PUZZLE PIECES.  I started by inking up a piece of cardstock with Tim Holz Victorian Velvet,Dusty Concord and Broken CHina distress inks.  Then i misted it with water.  After the paper was dry I stamped it with Versamark, then embossed it with recollections clear embossing powder.I cut out the jigsaw heart and popped it up in pop dots.  Then I added some ribbon from Elegant Bits.
For the inside I used some Recollections paper the added The Heart 2 Heart frames.

EMBOSSING CLASS AT MICHAELS

Last week I took an embossing class at Michaels.  I was the only student, the teacher, Laurie was outstanding and taught me some new techniques.  This card was made using a Hummingbird stamp from Inkadoo.  First i inked up a piece owhite cardstock with Tim Holtz Distressed ink Victorian Velvet,Broken China and Dusty Concord.  Then I stamped the hummngbird image using Ranger embossing powder and clear ink.  After I heat set it I went over the whole thing with a sponge applicater loaded with Walnut Stain.  Then I wiped off the excess.  I added some ribbon from Gorgeous Bits, restamped the image, using purple ink  on white card stock.

I'M NUTS & BOLTS FOR YOU

I am having so much fun with my the new release from MCT.  For this card I used the"Best Bots Forever" stamp set.  The base card paper is DCWV.  The robot and cog papers are "Boy Crazy" from MME.  The solid and cloud papers are Paper Studio.  The robot dies and sentiment as well as the grass die are from MCT.  I used Stitched Rectangular Frame Dies and More for the orange mat. INSIDE OUT

I originally made this to go on the inside of a card.  But I liked it so much that I decided to use it on the front instead.  The stamps and sentiment are from Close To My Heart.  My CTMH consultant is Diana at DL. Art.  CLICK HERE for more info.  Iused MCT Stitched Rectangle Frame Dies and More. The base card and the flitter matt are from DCWV, the white and orange papers are Parer Studio Adhesives. LOVE INSIDE A HEART

This card turned out so cute.  I inked up a cuttlebug folder with recollections pigment ink, then I ran it thru the Cuttleb ug.  Next I inked a border aroung a mat.  The Heat is from MCT "heart to Heart Love Frame."  The ribbon is from Gorgeous Bits in Niles, CA.  The rhinestone heart is Paper Studio.

READY SET BLOW

Hello.  The sun is shining today, I love how bright the house is.  BBTB2 is having a Cricut phrase or word challenge.  There are some great cartridges with words on them, my favorite two are Once upon a Princess and Sweet Treats.  I chose a sentiment from Sweet Treats.  The card base is DCWV, the solids, and the candle paper are Paper Studio.  I used a cuttlebug Birthday embossing folder, The crinkle ribbon is form Elegant Bits in Niles, CA.  The Skittles are from DOUBLE CLICK CONNECTIONS.  I am also linking up to DL Art January Linky Party and to LITTLE SCRAP PIECES-Show It Off Saturday Linky Party.

I'D RATHER BE CRAFTING WEEK2

This week instead of deep cleaning, I went on a coin hunt.  I would really like to buy an Explore or Silhouette.  So I went thru all of the places where my family dump change.  This is what I came up with.  A bag of quarters and a bag of dimes.  So far I have bagged up $100.00 of quarters

ANOTHER LAYOUT

I can't believe I have made two layouts in a week.  The Close To My Heart cartridge Artbooking makes scrapbooking so easy, but not cookie cutter.  You can mix and match the photo frames and page layouts.  The solid pearl papers are from Core'dinations.  The patterned papers are Carta Bella.  Thr Pearls are from Hobby Lobby.  I am entering it into a snowflake challenge BBTB2 .  I am also linking up toDL.Art January Linky Party/

HAPPY BLUES

I just remembered that my blog still had a Christmas background.  I was so happy to find this beautiful bird background on SHABBY BLOGS.  When my girls graduated from High School I made them albums with a few pages for each year of their life.  My son is now a junior-so I decided to start now.  This page is from Cricut Artbooking.
The background paper is a white pearl by Core'dinations.  The soft blue grey patterned paper is Carta Bella.  The rest of the solids are scraps.  The wooden snowflake is some table scatter I think I got it at Target a few years ago.  To the center of it I added a snowflake gem from Paper Studio.

My Sister-in-laws father passed away last week.  I made this card for her using Florals Embellished.  The patterned papers are from K&Company, the solid glitter papers ar DCWV.  Double Click Connections are having a Skittle Challenge where you hace to use a bow, button or brad.  The ribbon is from this cute new store in Niles CA, called Gorgeous Bits.

RED LOVE

Here is my first valentine card of the year.  I used the current MOJO MONDAY sketch.  There is a lot of red in the card because my friend Diana from DL. Art is having her Thankful Thursday Use Red Challenge.  The base is Recollections Kraft . The solid red is Paper Studio Adhesive, the patterns are from Paper Studio Vintage Amour.  This is a gorgeous paper pad.  The ribbon is from 3 Girl Jam. "Love " is a MCT die.

SUPRISE, SUPRISE- A POODLE IS MY FAVORITE CRICUT CUT

BBTB2 is having an "All Time Favorite Cricut Cut Challenge."  I love all of the poodle cuts.  But I think my all time favorite is from Twinkle Toes.  I am still searching for the Carousel cartridge-they have a cool poodle with a tutu on jumping thru a hoop.  I used the sketch from this weeks DIE CUTTING DIVAS  challenge.  The patterned papers are Julie Netting "Dress Me Up".  The glitterpaper is DCWV, the rest of the solids are Colorbok.
I used DOUBLECLICKCONNECTIONS skittles. The label die is from My Creative Time and the sentiment is Scrappy Moms.

MAGGIE WILL BE MISSED

My friend Tracie lost her Bernaise Mountain Dog, Maggie, to cancer.  I made this card for her.  All of the dies are MY CREATIVE TIME.  The dog related cuts are from "Loyal Friends", The sentiment is from "Live, Love, Bark" The clouds are "Stitched Cartoon Clouds."  The polka dot paper is DCWV.  The solids are Paper Studio Adhesive packs.  I love this paper for small pieces.

I made this card for my next door neighbor who lost her father over the holidays.  I used My Creative TimeScalloped Stitched Ovals for the base and the vellum oval.  The flower, the sentiment and the banner are also MCT.The pearl Flourish is from Hobby Lobby.  (I stocked up last week when the gemstones were 50% off.) The pearls are from my stash(can't find the Package)

FIRST CARD OF THE YEAR
