SOME DAYS SIMPLY REQUIRE A GLASS OF WINE

I have been requested to make a birthday card for someone who likes wine.  I ended up making 2.  They bothe use MY CREATIVE TIME dies and stamps.  I used Keepin' it Classy for the stamped image,Classy Girl and Fur baby die, Scalloped and Stitched Circle Die, and Some Days Simply Require.  The flowers on the green card are from Mothers Day cartridge.  All of the papers except for the floral are from DCWV.  The floral is Authentique.  The base card of the green cardis a Spellbinders die.  i used Stayz On ink.

WARM HEART

FCCB is having a color challenge-yellow, purple and grey.  I was a little stuck, then I saw that MY CRAFT SPOT is having a Shaped Card challenge.  I immediately thought of Damask Decor.  I love their shaped cards.  The base card paper is Core'dinations, all other paper is DCWV.  The gem on top is Jolees.  I used skittles by my friend Cari at DOUBLE CLICK CONNECTIONS.  I got the German Glass Glitter by Chic California at a refurbished furniture shop.  The sentiment is Fiskars.  I am also linking this up to DL.ART-Thankful Thursday June Linky Party

FUN IN CABO

I am making cards to give to my girls when we go to cabo.   I'll put some spending money inside.  PAUSE,DREAM,ENJOY is having a Many Layers Linky Party.  Also, BBTB2 are having a Summer Fun Challenge. IThe sassy lady is from Pack Your Bags,  She is a lot taller than I thought.  So I made a tall card.  All of the papers and cork are from DCWV.  The waves are a border from a kit I got a long time ago.  The clouds are MCT dies.For the lemon I used a skittle from my friend Cari at DOUBLE CLICK CONNECTIONS

REACH FOR THE STARS

I made this card to send to my girls, since they wont be home for July 4th.  I went through all of my stamps and I didn't have one 4th of July sticker or stamp.  MY CREATIVE TIME is having an Patriotic sketch and color theme.  I really had fun with this.  The main image is A Child's year.  The papers are Bo Bunny.  I cut out circles from the background paper and cascaded them down the side.  I used My Creative time Stitched button dies for the stars and made a bow with Martha Stewart twine.  on the inside I topped the page with a K & Company border. The Stitched Vintage Label die and stamp was used as a background for the Stitched Scallop and Circle die.  The sentiment is from All Around Everything set.  I decided to use "Reach For the Stars" for the sentiment.

GIANT STATISTICS

My friend request a baseball themed card for her grandson who love the Giants.  She told me he is really into statistics.  I went on to the Giants website and printed out the latest stats.  Then I printed them on cardstock.  That is my homemade background.  For the speech bubble I typed lots of abreviations then cut them out using Artiste.  For the min image I Used "A Child's Year".  The base card is Core'dinations Black Magic.  The stickers and baseball paper are Paper Studio. The alphabet stickers are Stickopotumus.  The inside sentiment is My Creative Time Some Days Simply Require...  The ribbon is Offray.

COFFEE FOR THE GRADUATE

I made this gift card holder for my friends niece.  The striped paper was in my recycle box.  The coffede paper is DCWV-Snack Pack.  I bought the Foothill High stickers at my sons school.  The congratulations is from Beyond Birthdays.  I used MCT die for the giftcard holder and the inside sentiment.  The inside labels are spellbinder dies, the sentiment is MCT.

BOHEMIAN THANK YOU CARD

Last year I bought a Graphic 45 paper pad called Bohemian Bazar.  I love how the patterns go together.  I used this weeks sketch at MOJO MONDAY,  After i did the layout, I was stuck for the center image.  DIE CUTTING DIVAS are having a "Things with Wings" challenge.  The ribbon is 3 Girl Jam.  The bird is from Give A Hoot,  I used MCTMY CREATIVE TIME dies for the flower and tag.  The center circle is a Spellbinders die,

WELCOME LITTLE ONE

It seems like there are a lot of baby boys being born.  I have orders for three cards.  When I saw the sketch challenge at FCCB, i knew exactly what to make.  I just got Baby Steps for 19.99 at Joannes.The papers are all DCWV.  I got the brads at Scrapbook Expo a few years ago.  I can't remember the brand name.  I love how the had 3 sizes.  The inside and outside sentiments are from Stamps of Life.  I used PKS for the face.  The bubbles were run thru my Cuttlebug, using the Tiny Bubbles folder.  I am also entering a masculine challenge at DL.Art.

HIT THE SPOT

The other day I sold 4 thank you cards.  it is time to replenish.  The base card is David Tutera.  The first layer is Embellish.  The rest is DCWV.  I used Stamps of Life-"Ladybugs2love"  The ribbon is 3 Girl jam.  I embellished with Skittles from my friend Cari at Doubleclick Connections.

NUMBER 1 DAD

Celebrate with Flourish is oneof my go-to favorite cartridges.  Die Cutting Divas are having a black plus one color challenge.  I used alot of different shades of black,  The 3 shades of chalkboard paper and the black glitter paper are Recollections.  The blue and black striped paper is My Minds Eye.I used a Spellbinders die for the backgound.On the inside I used My Creative Time. The label and co-ordinating stamp are Vintage Label.  In the center I used Scalloped and Stitched Circle die.  The sentiment is from All around Everything, the star is from All around Holiday.  CLICK HERE for product information.

SOARING HEART FOR DAD

Here is a card I made for my husband.  This one doesn't fit any of the challenges out there, because i didnt use a die cut.  I used the new Stamp of the Month set from Stamps of Life-Hot4balloons.  The patterned papers are My Minds Eye-Hootenanny and My Girl.I used Stayzon black ink and Versa Magic Chalk Ink.
The inside sentiment plaque is Recollections the sentiment is My Creative Time-You're My Best Buddy.

DAD LOVES VEGGIES

I made this card for my friend to give to her dad.  Last year I made him a tomato seed packet card.  Keeping with the gardening theme, I made a scene card.  The base card is DCWV Snack Pack.  The rest of the textured solids are Paper Studio.  (I am loving Hobby Lobby)The cart and the big corn are  from Freshly picked, the smaller veggies are from From my Kitchen.  The tree is from Create a Critter.I used a Darice embossing folder for the clouds.  The wheel barrow is embossed with Cuttlebug-Distressed Stripes.  The embossed frame is Cuttlebug-Pinking Stitch.  The grass die is from My Creative Time, so is the inside sentiment.  The outer sentiment is Ditto G.  I used Tim Holtz distressed ink.I altered the cuts by drawing corn kernels with a Sakura white pen.  i used a green Bic to draw veins on the corn stalk. BBTB2 is having an Alter a Cricut cut Challenge. CAPS IN THE AIR

My nephew is graduating from high school this week.  I made a "Standing Shapes" card. CLICK HERE for instructions by Splitcoast Stampers.  The graduating bird is from 3Birds on Parade. The caps on the inside are from Wild Card.  The patterned papers are Paper Studio.  I outlined the faces with a blue Sharpie.  I used Perfect Pearls on the tassel.  The clear acetate is recycled packaging.
