TAG GIFTCARD HOLDERS

I made these tags for a birthday party I went to last week.  They turned out so cute and it only took 45 minutes to complete them.  All of the dies are from MY CREATIVE TIME  I love Tag-giftcard pocket die  The craft paper is Recollections.  All other paper is DCWV.  I used Stayz On ink.  The burlap was from Liz's Paper loft.  The ribbon was on a pkg.

CRAFT ROOM REVEAL AND BLOG CANDY

I was going to post my blog candy on my birthday which was Tuesday.  Unfortunately, I had the flu.  Today is the first day that I am eating real food.  My present to myself was a Scrapbox desk.  I just love it.  Now my craft room is finally finished.  Now I can get back to crafting, all of my stuff is where it should be.

For more informan=tion on this challenge click HERE.  I used Core'dinations paper for the base, the owl paper is K&Company,  All other is scraps.  The brads are from Echo Park.  I cut the large circle from Plantin Schoolbook.  The owl is from Create a critter.  The inside sentiment is from My Craft Spot.

My friend Diana and I took a class from Heartfelt Creations.  We learned a technique to make 3-dimensional flowers.  I made this card to enter into Diana's Thankful Thursday 5 Word Sentiment Challenge

The peach base paper is from Core'dinations, all other paper is DCWV.  I used Spellbinders for the background templates.  The stamp is from Simon Says.  I used memento inks.  I also used some silver 3D-Stempel-Farbe by My Paper world

I got this cute little airplane die from My Creative Time.  when I was at the Scrapbook Expo, I found this darling Echo Park paper pad.  I used the current MOJO MONDAY sketch.  I am also linking to DL.ART Thankful Thursday march Linky Party.  Ans to LITTLE SCRAP PIECES Show it Off Saturday.

Peachy Keen Sketch/photo inspiration

Things around here are beginning to settle down.  My daughter moved home with 2 dogs.  A lot of drama.  Finally I set up most of my craft room.  Last Friday I met Diana at the Scrap Expo in my home town of Pleasanton, CA.  Donna met up with us for a short while.  It is so much fun to get together with bloggy friends..We took a fun class together, put on by Heartfelt Creations.  Then we did some shopping.  I got tons of paper and a few dies.  At Stamps of Life I purchased quite a few dies and some stamps.  I can't wait to use the 2 Sizzix Flipit dies I picked up.  After the show Diana and I grabbed a quick dinner.  Thank you Diana.  Today I purchased a desk that I saw at the Expo.  It is by The Original Scrapbox.
I made my first Easter card.Cut It Up Challenge Blog is having a spring or St Patricks Day Challenge.  I used a Sketch from Peachy Keen, only to find out that I missed the deadline on the sketch challenge.  No worries, the papers and colors I used are perfect for the Photo/Color Inspiration challenge.CLICK HERE
All of the papers, including the tags and border are from K&Company.  I used Create a Critter 2 for the chickie.  The Stamped sentiments are My Creative Time.Of course the adorable face is Peachy Keen "Laffy Taffy" I took the picture several times, It came out very purple.  Its actually more pink.

MONO-CHROMATIC TREAT HOLDERS

For St. patricks day I gave out these cute candy holders to my co-workers.  Some have mints and some have little packets of gum.  MY CREATIVE TIME is having a mono chromatic challenge. The base paper from K&Company, All of the fabulous dies and sentiments are from MY CREATIVE TIME.  The one with the caterpillar is Cricut Create A Critter 2

FARM BDAY CARD

My co-worker requested a card for her aunt.  She wanted a farm theme with a rooster, pig and lamb.  Her's what I came up with.  The card base is Sizzix Framelet.  The animals are from "From My Kitchen"  I used DCWV Chalkboard for the base.  The barn  and yellow wood paper is "Southern Dumpling Soup" by Jillibean Soup.  All other paper is scraps.  The sentiment and grass die are  from My Creative Time.

Lisa is a very talented bloggy friend.  Check out her blog A MERMAIDS CRAFTS.She is having a 3rd blogaversary give away.  She requested you to link up a  child hood photo.  So funny, I found this one when I was moving my craft room.  When I was 10 I moved from Bristol, England to Seattle.  The local paper did an article on us leaving.

Short Break

I have not posted as much as I wanted to.  This year has been very stressful.  I see a light at the end of the dark tunnel.  In addition my craft room is almost finished.  My bloggy friends are an improtant part of my day and I am sorry I haven't been visiting too much.
