HAPPY BELATED HOLIDAYS

I hope everyone had a great day full of love and family.  This was the first Christmas without my mom. I miss her so much.  My dad and I made our traditional family dinner.  My mom had made the XMAS pudding a while ago.  We heated it up, doused it with brandy and caught it on fire.  on Christmas Eve we had my husbands side of the family over-30 people.  Lots of fun and food.  This year has been challenging for my family.
The boys i watch wanted to make a necklace for their mom.  Here is photo of the first one.  They made several more, but I didn't have my camera.

FRIENDS ARE THE GIFTS OF LIFE

One of my best frineds is celebrating her birthday next week.  I made her card using alot of My Creative Time Products.  My new favorite set ist Stitched Window Frames and Accessories.Click HERE for more info. I also used the set LOYAL FRIENDS.  I got this terrific paper pad from Hobby Lobby it is all vintage wood siding  It is called "Country Road".  They also have a more nautical one.  The ribbon is from Karen at LITTLE SCRAP PIECES.  The pearls are from Hobby Lobby and the flowers are Spellbinders.

HANGING WITH ELFIN AND A CUP OF COFFEE

TRIANGLE BOX

Yesterday I went to a fun lipstick exchange party with a bunch of girlfriends.  It was so much fun.  I was running late and needed to wrap my gloss.  I made this box using Artiste page 68.  It is suppossed to be a rectangular box.  to fit my gloss I overlapped one section to form a triangular box.  The stamps and dog die are from  MCT-Loyal Friends.    The main paper is Echo Park.  The glitzy ribbon is Darice.  The red embossing powder is Paper Source.  The wooden snowflakes ar table scatter embellished with a skittle from DOUBLECLICK.

AND A STOCKING WAS HUNG ON A BOX...

I need to make a few gift boxes for cosmetic presents.  This box was made using Artiste.  I only used one piece of double sided Carta Bella paper.  The ribbon is off of a box of cookies. the stocking cut is from Jolly Holidays.  The papers used on the stocking are Paper Studio.

2ND POST TODAY-BEAUTIFUL SNOWLADY BOX

Tonight my bookclub is having a dinner and gift exchange.  I bought a beautiful Cat Eye make up kit.  I made a gift box using Artiste Cartriddge.  I made it to fit the page.  (The gift barely fit in) The base paper and the brad are from Echo Park.  The pink snowflake paper is Recollections.  The solids are Paper Studio Adhesive stacks. Oh Boy do I love this paper for small pieces. The dies are my favorite MCT Winter Snowman Dies.  The tag is also from My Creative time-Teeny Tag Greetings and Teeny Tag Holidays.The snowman and snowflake gems are Paper Studio. The ribbon was from a gift.

Last year I purchased a vintage elf and named him Elfin.  My husband and son love to go fishing in Elfin Cove Alaska.  Well after along summer in storage Elfin appeared in the Thanksgiving flowers.

I am so excited to have received my new release from  MY CREATIVE TIME.  I am loving the "Stitched Window Dies and Accessories"  I made this darling money holder with the pup from the "Loyal Friends" set.  For this project I made the puppy looking out.  The striped paper is from Carta Bella.  The wood siding paper is DCWV.  I used some plstic packaging for the window.  The clothespin is Paper Studio. The tag on the back is from a kit I got at the Expo.  I think it is Echo Park.

GAVIN IS HERE

It has been a busy and blessed week.  My neice had her baby last week.  I am now officially "Nana Kate".  My niece is like a daughter to me, my sister passed away 12 years ago.  On Tuesday the 26th Gavin Michael was born.  

PANDA CARD

I have recently started nannying for 2 boys.  The older one celebrated his birthday on Friday,  The younger one wanted to make a Taekwondo panda card.  We found a teddy wearing a robe on the Teddy Bear Parade cartridge.  The background paper is Paper Studio.  The solid blue is a shaped note card I bought from Marshalls.  All other papers are scraps.

This card was created and designed by a 9 year old boy.  He loves to craft.

Recently I switched jobs from retai to an after school.  The little boy turned 11.  He loves video game.  I got him a gift card to Game Stop.  BBTB2 is having an "Anything Goes" challenge.  I used the Wrap it Up cartridge for the box.

3 EMBELLISHMENTS

Hello.  It has been a while since I have posted.  My friend is getting married on Sunday, I made 106 favors.  Hope to post them after the wedding.  FCCB is having a "3 Embellishment" Challenge. Diana from DL. Art is having a Thankful Thursday Christmas Challenge. The papers are snowman paper is My Minds Eye,  The red and black papers are Paper Studio.  I used cricut Joys of the Season for the snowman cut.  The Ribbon is 3 Girl jam. The gem snowflakes, snowman and clothespins are Paper studio. The tags on the back and the "To and From" are from My Creative time.

FLEAS NAVIDAD

I am in love with My Creative Times Fleas Navidad, Loyal Friends, and Stitched Oval Die.  There is a Designer Challenge going on at MCT.CLICK HERE.  There are three diferent possibilities, a color challenge, a sketch or picture inspiration.  I chose to use the colors. The square dies are from Spellbinders. The rhinestones are Paper Studio.  I used one of the larger paw gems and attatched it to a small wooden clothespin from Paper Studio. THE CATS MEOW

My neice recently adopted a few stray kitties.  I made a birthday card for her using a sketch from  the current FCCB Challenge.  All of the kitty papers are DCWV.  The kitty cut is Cricut Meow.  The sentiment is from Scrappy Moms and the Skittles are from Carri at DOUBLECLICK

PENGUIN STYLE

Three more holiday money and gift card holders.  Jolly Holidays is one of my favorite Cricut cartridges.  I cut 16 penguins out of 1 12X12 piece of cardstock.  More penguin projects coming soon.   The pearl papers are Core'dinations, the solid burgandy is DCWV and the paterned chalkboard paper is Paper Studio. The faces are Peachy Keen.  The sentiment is a Craft Smart stamp, ebossed with Versamark ink and Zing embossing powder.  For the envelope I used My Creative Time "Stitched Rectangular Frame Dies and More."(The rectangles on the front and the label on the back.)
The label for the slider is Spellbinders.  The Giftcard holder is a My Creative Time Die, as is the tag, flower, snowman and "to: from"  FCCB is having an "Anything Goes" Challenge

My daughter just moved into a new apartment.  She is now on a budget, so I thought I would send her a few gift cards.  The first one is a starbucks card.  The papers are from DCWV Snack Pack and Latte.  The dies are MCT Vintage Label Die for the base and MCT All You Need is Coffee and sentiments.  I used Skittles by Carri at Doubleclick Connections.

REINDEER GREETINGS

A few more money holders.  The deer is "Oh Deer" by MCT.  I love the deer in this set.  The papers are some holiday packs by Echo Park and Carta Bella.  The sentiment is Craft Smart stamped with Versamark ink and   Zing embossing powder.  The square dies are Spellbinders.  The snowflake pin is a plain little pin that I attatched a wooden snowflake to and put a Skittle in the middle.  Carri at DOUBLECLICK CONNECTIONS makes Skittles.  She is having a polka dot challenge.

WARM THOUGHTS

I am making a lot of money holders for the holidays.  My friend asked for 14.  So I decided I would make 3 of everything.  Then I will have a big supply.  For this first batch I made a pink girlie one using my new dies from MCT  I am loving this new release.  The solid paper is Recollection, the polka dot and tag on the back are  from a Carta Bella set I got at the Scrabbook Expo.   The rest of the paper is scraps.  The decorative paper clip is Recollections.

BBB-BABY BOY BOX

My niece, Janessa, is having a baby boy in a few weeks.  She got a lot of cool baby items at her shower.  I thought I would give her a gift card or some money when  Gavin arrives.  BBTB2 is having a Gift box challenge.  For this box I used Wrap it Up.  I put Sook Wang double sided tape under the cutout and covered the sticky side with Crystal Glitter Ritz.  Then I used an orange Sharpie for the beak.  The bow on top and the floral label are MY CREATIVE TIME.  The onesie is a Stamps of Life die. The sentiment is Studio G.  Of course I had to embellish the bow with a Skittle from Doubleclick Connections

My son doesn't like candy.  But he loves Chipotle, so I made a holder for a gift card.  The gift card holder, all label dies and sentiments are from My Creative Time.  I used Paperdoll Dress-up for the skeleton.  All of the papers are DCWV.  I am entering this into FCCB Halloween Project Challenge and into DL. Art Thankful Thursday Halloween Challenge

OOPS

I just realized that my cut doesn't match my sentiment.  It says "Black Hat Society" and my hat is purple.  I found this cute cut on the Hppy Hauntings Cartridge.  I ran the rat thru my Cuttlebug with Swiss Dots folder. The ticket is an EK punch.  The sentiment is from My Creative Time.  The twine is MME.  The solid papers are DCWV, the pattern is K&Company.  I used eggplant skittles by Carri from DOUBLECLICK CONNECTIONS.  check out her blog she has a color challenge-orange, black, puple ,green use at least  two .  BBTB2 is having a Bewitching Hat Challenge.

HOPE YOUR BIRTHDAY IS A BIG HIT

This is my second post today.  Yahoo.  I made this card for my brother in laws birthday.  FCCB are having a Pun Fun Challenge.  I love this pinata cut on Birthday Bash.  The saying was done on my computer.  The balloons, banner and the Happy Birthday sentiment  are My Creative Time.  The papers are Paper Studio. The card base cardstock is DCWV it is yellow on one side and orange on the other.  The flip-it card is a Sizzix Framelet die. The stick is a bamboo skewer that I cut.
