TWISTED MERMAID

I made this fun twisted card to send to one of my girls in Southern California.  I learned how to make this style of card by watching this SPLITCOAST STAMPER video.  I used Life's a Beach for the mermaid.  The Die cut for the base card is Spellbinders lacy Circles.  I am entering this into a "Heat Wave" Challenge at FCCB  and a BBTB2is having a "Get Wet" challenge.  I will also be linking up to DL.ART Thankful Thursday August Linky Party.

TREE-MENDOUS

My friend Diana at DL ART is having a Thankful Thursday Camping Challenge.  This was a fun card to make.  I used Camping Critters for all of the cuts.  The night sky is embossed with my Cuttlebug and  a star folder.  The fibers are from Tall Mouse.  I applied them with Zip Dry.  I used some recycled plastic packaging for the windows.  The base papers are Core'dinations, the rest is DCWV
I got the pattern from Splitcoast Stampers  "You're TREE-Mendous!" is from Scrappy moms. The sentiment die is My Creative Time and the twine is from Liz's Paper Loft.

ICE CREAM PARLOR

My vacation ends today.  Had a lovely time visiting my daughters in Hollywood.  Then my hubby and I went to San Fransisco for lunch on one of the piers.  We walked around the America Cup complex.  No racing today, saw some practicing.

A LITTLE SWAG

I can't believe that it has been a week since I last posted. Here is a card I made for my daughter, who I will be meeting up with today.  For this giftcard holder card, I used Something to Celebrate using the swag shaped card.  I cut the card twice, a smaller version is inside making a pocket for money or a giftcard.  I got this wonderful Graphic 45 paper called Bohemian Bazaar.  My friend Diana from DL.ART took me to her local craft store after we had a yummy lunch.  It is so much fun to meet up with bloggie friends.
