I thought I'd send my two girls some money or a gift card for July 4th.  I made the giftcard holder using My Creative Times die.  The paper I used is from Bo Bunny, it isn;t double sided so I added a layer of Kraft paper.  The Ribbon is from 3 Girl Jam.  I used gems from my stash.  The cute banner border is K & Company.  I use A Childs year for the image and Storybook for the frames

Papillon French for Butterfly

We had so much going on on Fathers day that we celebrated it with my dad a week later.  Which turned out great because my 2 girls were visiting from Southern California.  It was great to have them home.  A little chaotic, my daughter bought her two little dogs.
My dad likes a nearby french restaurant called "Papillon".  The challenge was to make a masculine gift card holder with a butterfly on it.  I made the gift card holder using a die from My Creative Time The sentiment is also MCT.  I used a Spellbinder Die for the butterfly.

CRABULOUS

A while back I won a set of stamps from MY CRAFT SPOT. There are a few summer challenges going on.  I used Pack Your Bags for the crab.  The papers are DCWV except for the cloud one which is Basic Grey.The ribbon is off a package.  I inked the edges with Tim Holtz ink pad.

Baptism Card

A special friend of mine was baptized weekend.  Here is the card I made for her using the Indie Art cartridge.  The papers are DCWV and Core'dinations.  I also used a cuttlebug frame(sorry don't know the name)

CRUISIN ON A LAZY AFTERNOON

I made a fun summer card using Pack Your Bags cartridge.  The background paper is a summer mat pad from last year by DCQV.  The fun in the Sun ribbon is from Target.  The skittles are from Doubleclick Connections . I used Laffy Taffy Peachy Keen stamps for the face.  The "Cruisin" stamp is from Scrappy Moms.  I am entering it into a summer challenge at Scrappy Moms.  The sentiment die is from Spellbinders

WHITE WEDDING

I have been wanting to make an all white card for a while.  Karen at LITTLE SCRAP PIECES is having a "Nice Day for a White Wedding" challenge.  All die cuts are Spellbinders.  The embossing folder is Provocraft.  The papers are Paper Source, the base card is David Tutera.The stamp is TPC Studio.  The skittles are from DOUBLECLICK CONNECTIONS

CRUNCHY ICE

I love the sentiment on this card, it is from The Stamps Of Life.  it says "Lemonade, crunchy ice, time with you is always nice"  The set has many cute stamps.  I just used the sentiment and the ice cubes.  For the glass of lemonade I used Just Because Cards.  I am entering it into a DIE CUTTING DIVAS Summer Refreshment challenge.  BBTB2 is having a "Come and Get it Summer Food Challenge".  I am also linking up to DL. GUEST DESIGNER ON DOUBLECLICK CONNECTIONS

Hello.  My friend   Carri asked me to be a guest designer on her blog.  I am featuring her handmade Skittles.  They add beautiful dimension and color to your projects.  I used Cranberry, Watermelon and Lettuce on my project.  Followers who comment on Carri's Guest design Post and My Guest Design post will be entered to win some fun skittles.

I used a Cathy Davis paper pad called "Ambrosia"  The telephone stamp and sentiment are from Stamps of Life, "Phone 4 You" set. I inked around the edges with Tim Holtz Distressed Ink in "Victorian Velvet"   .The top die cuts are Spellbinders "Labels Eight".  The bottom die is My Creative Times "Curly Label Die".  I used Martha Stewart Pearl Glass paint on the phone dial.

A MI PADRE

I made this card for my co-worker to give to her father.  She requested a tomato theme.  I used the "Freshly Picked" Cartridge.  The veggie themed papers are Recollections.  All other  paper is DCWV.  I used My Creative Time "Build a Banner" and "lowercase Fun Dies" for the Papi banner.  The sentiment inside and on the envelope are My Creative Time"You're My Best Buddy" Ink-Tim Holtz

LIVE,LOVE, LADY BUG

I made this cute little ladybug card to fit 2 challenges.  BBTB2 is having a "Ladybug Challenge"  and DIE CUTTING DIVAS is having an awesome Sketch challenge.  I knew I didn't want to use black, red and white.  I just made a pink and green ladybug card.  So I chose red, yellow and pink.

CONGRATULATIONS AUDREY

My older niece and I are hosting a graduation party for my niece Audrey who is graduating from High School.  Her mom, my sister Sara, passed away 11 years ago.  I am so proud of Audrey for being a great student, athlete and nice person.  I made a quick banner with a banner pad from Heidi Grace.  I used Plantin Schoolbook for the letters and a Spellbinder die for the labels.   The other papers are from K&Company.  The ribbon is from Walmart.

SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS

This past weekend I had to make 5 sympathy cards.  A good friend of my husbands family passed away from breast cancer.  She was only 42.  I will miss her very much.  She was a great crafter.  Every holiday she made something cute, usually with candy in it.  My husband and I also had a few friends whose parents passed a way.  Here are a few of them
