JUST A NOTE...TO LIFT YOUR SPIRITS

Good Morning.  Diana at DL.Art is having a "Use Orange Thankful Thursday Challenge"  I used this really cute image from Inky Antics. I colored them with watercolor pencils. The background paper is Embellish.  The rest is from my scrap pile.  I used My Creative Times "Fancy Frame Dies and More" for the mats.  The ribbon is from Elegant Bits

There are a couple of spring challenges going on.  I haven't used Teddy Bear Parade for a long time.  The patterned papers are Embelish and thye solids are DCWV.  The die for the sentiment and the sentiment are My Creative Time. For the eyes I used skittles by Carri from  Doubleclick Connections.
I got the raindrop gems from the dollar section at JoAnne's.

BIRD WITH A BIRD-DAY HAT

Hello, It is a beautiful sunny day in Northern California. I finally found some time to play with my newest MCT products.  All of the papers are DCWV. The bird and sentiment are from the My Creative Times 'TWEET ME STAMP SET' I also used the cordinating die set.  I made the frame using STITCHED RECTANGULAR FRAME DIES AND MORE.  The cute tiny flowers are from

FLORAL SYMPATHY CARD

My friend from high school lost her mother to cancer.  I made this card to send to her. I got my inspiration from 2 challenges.  DIE CUTTING DIVAS are having an April Sketch Challenge and BBTB2 are having a Spring Flower Challenge.  I used the Cricut cartridge "Florals Embellished."The base paper is Core'dinations, the floral is Authentique and the rest is DCWV.  I used 3 Girl Jam ribbon for the three stripes on the sketch.  The sentiment banner, sentiment and circle die are all My Creative Time.

BELATED BIRTHDAY GIVE-AWAY

I was going to post this blog candy on my birthday March 25th.  However, life got busy.  We took my son Robert, to a college visit tour in Boston.  It was a super fun trip.  I am so proud of my son-he introduced himself to someone in admissions at each college.  To qualify for my give-away all you have to do is to live in the U.S. and leave a comment.
